INCREDIBLE
She was absolutely fantastic. She validated what I was experiencing and was incredibly thorough in her exam. Most importantly, she was compassionate and kind. I would highly recommend her!

Do not recommend
I went in for chronic knee pain and swelling that would've been obvious if she actually looked at my knee, but she just told me that it wasn't swollen without even looking. Refused to actually listen to what I was saying, condescending and patronizing, probably should've listened to the reviews on this page. She is a last resort, maybe don't even use her as a last resort.

I agree with all the negative reviews. Her communication skills are deficient. She didn't listen to me, interrupted me, treated me as if I was lying, and started yelling at me at one point in our conversation. She thought that I was trying to get her to renew a prescription for a muscle relaxant just to have fun with the drug. Meanwhile, that medication is the only thing that helps with the pain I am suffering from. Very "compassionate." Thank you for treating me, a Ph.D. graduate, like a drug addict. I highly recommend people avoid her. She's utterly unprofessional.

I had multiple extremely unpleasant experiences with Dr. Vasu. She is patronizing and, at times, downright condescending. At one appointment, I asked for a refill of an acne medication (that I had been on for over two years) and she actually laughed at me and said she didn't see any acne. She then refused to refill it and said that many adults fraudulently tried to get insurance companies to subsidize retinoids because they are so expensive OTC. I was indignant and explained that the only reason my acne was under control was the usage of the retinoid. After a lot of back and forth, she relented and agreed to refill it. She lords her position over patients instead of trying to understand and help. Even though I've tried very hard to avoid her, she is often the only one with availability in the system. Each time I've seen her, I've left feeling infuriated and humiliated.
