Dr. Sean Ormond, MD

Refuses to medicate and provide refills, pretends not to know amount needed, Ignores messages,will not return calls and staff is incompetent(writes down knee for shoulder pain!). Abhorrent treatment!

Long story short, I got a procedure here and had complications from it. Instead of trying to figure out what went wrong, the PA that I saw pretended that my symptoms were due to a “pulled muscle.”If you’re looking for real help and real results, I would go somewhere else. They clearly do not care about patients here, just billing new DX codes.

I started seeing Dr Ormond in July 2022, it is now July 2024. So he has been my Pain Medicine Dr for 24 months. He has been like a - FRIEND - to me as I have dealt with extremely severe pain (cervical & lumbar radiculopathy) since March 2022. Do not believe the ridiculously fake negative reviews, Dr Ormond is as kind and empathetic a Doctor as you will ever find. Empathy is his middle name. I have dealt with plenty of mean, cruel Doctors - Dr Ormond is at the opposite end of the spectrum...Dr Ormond is the best. His employees all love him to death and praise him and are always smiling, in a joyous mood. You can just see the kindness he treats his employees with. As I’ve dealt with a Thoracic Fusion, Lumbar Fusion and 2 Cervical Fus’s..with another Cervical Fusion and another Lumbar Fusion still to come shortly, he’s always willing to try to get me in at very short notice (same day quite often) if new breakthrough pain presents itself or something new arises. He is my friend and my Dr.

Dr. Ormonds skills as a Clinician are good. Treatment options proposed are comprehensive, outpatient trigger procedures are available without question; however medication refills are viewed with skepticism; often ignored… as a result, many prescriptions (over past 8 mo) were never called in to pharmacy. Some reasons: “Dr. Ormond is unavailable,’ ‘check with your pharmacy-I phoned it in, ‘medical assistant is with another patient’, ‘left your message for the doctor’, ‘he’s in surgery all day’. ‘you will need another appointment for medication refills’”…these are some responses given by office staff. In my opinion, reciprocity, trust, and open communication is of vital importance in the doctor-patient relationship.

I recently visited Dr. Ormond for my chronic pain issues, and I must say, my experience was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, Dr. Ormond actively listened to my concerns, thoroughly evaluated my condition, and worked collaboratively with me to develop a personalized pain management plan. What sets Dr. Ormond apart is his genuine care and compassion towards his patients. He was incredibly patient when answering my questions and took the time to clearly explain the treatment options available. I really felt like he made an effort to understand and address my pain rather than just writing a prescription. Under Dr. Ormond's care, my pain has significantly reduced, and my quality of life has improved immensely. He regularly checks in and follows up to see how I am progressing, which is a testament to his commitment to his patients' well-being. I would highly recommend Dr. Ormond to anyone seeking an exceptional pain management doctor. He has truly made a difference in my life, and I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism, dedication, and genuine care.

Awesome, really took the time to get to the source of my pain! Other pain Doctors I visited just put a "patch" on things and I never experienced the amount of pain relief until I went to Atlas Pain Specialists!
