Dr. Sean Lyden, MD

May we never see the day to need medical help, especially this day in age. Welcome to the era where you wait over an hour for the doctor and he tells you, "I was on vacation and got double booked." When he came in to go over the CAT scan results, that talk lasted less than 5 minutes. No apology or anything. Absurd and unprofessional, I have not been recommending this clinic and definitely not this absurd pompous "doctor."

Dr. Lyden was to perform an endarterectomy on the right and left carotid arteries. He did the left side and damaged the left vocal chord with severe paresis. I since understand there is an extreme low probability for this to happen. I also have a very slight neurological issue in my arm. Another low point was when he ripped out the drainage tube the next morning which was very painful and should have been done by a nurse. I decided not to do the second procedure with him. Keep in mind he does not talk on the phone or do any videoconferencing. The staff isn't much better. Being from out of state this was an issue. Like Notre Dame, his arrogance far exceeds his capabilities.

Friendly, explained my condition well and the course of action needed to handle the problem.
