Would not recommend
My medications were not optimal, but Dr Huang never said anything. Another doctor noticed they were wrong and corrected them. Dr did not listen to my history as it was told to him. The history in my chart seems to be copy-and-pasted from somewhere else and is not what happened during my seizures. He used the same incorrect description, copied from somewhere else, more than once. He also wrote that he counseled me about swimming and other things that I should not do, but he actually did not counsel me about any dangers at all. I prefer a doctor who listens to me and reports accurately in the chart. After all, other doctors will read my chart and may base their care on what he wrote, so he has an ethical obligation to take the time to listen to the patient and to report the history correctly. I prefer a doctor who TAKES CARE of his patients. I also prefer a doctor who does not claim he did something (counseling me about hazards for people who have seizures) that he did not do.

Dr. Hwang is knowledgeable, compassionate, and expresses a genuine interest in helping me deal with a particularly challenging form of temporal lobe epilepsy. He's been helping me manage my condition with a combination of diet, exercise, and being prescribed the right medication. It is essential to connect with a doctor who specializes in the treatment of epilepsy as opposed to a general neurologist. FIVE STARS for this doctor!
