Dr. Sean Hurt, MD

Was concerned at first because he's young. A lot of young docs want to try everything they learned in medical school. But he's not like that. He doesn't go looking for problems if you're healthy. He's very sensible - a good listener, very respectful and professional, totally non-judgmental. Also fun to talk to and doesn't look like his picture.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hurt as my primary care physician for a few years, and when I went in for my annual physical with him recently, and he barely spent 15 minutes in the room. He was very rushed and didn’t even take my vitals, but he did recommend that I get some lab work which I agreed to not knowing any better. I got the bill weeks later and it turned out the cost of the lab work was over $2,500 which I was totally unaware of. There was no disclosure potential costs or a discussion about possible alternatives. Im frustrated and disappointed. I will be leaving Jefferson Health.

Excellent with spending time talking through your issues, discussing medication, and all options available. My Dr. Hurt office visits are always painless :)
