Positive review unlike others
Don't understand these negative reviews, because my care has been thoughtful and comprehensive. Seems to be a byproduct of some folks who may be just looking for opioids for whatever medical condition they have. After seeing his associated pain management doctors (who tried nerve blocks, etc.) Dr. Evans continued to order tests to help diagnose what is now shown as permanent spinal cord damage, with no treatment options other than meds to ease the pain, while trying other stuff like mindfulness, acupuncture etc. all with limited success. But I am pleased with his care, and there is some relief in just knowing and understanding my problem(s).

2 minutes ago Took my adult daughter there for severe shoulder pain. Been in bed for weeks. She is a clinical psychologist. He ran tests and nothing came to light. Told her she needed to look into psychological help. He wrote in her chart which her primary showed us that she is an opioid addict seeking pills! She went to pain management doctor and got nerve block and pain has been gone. What a travesty for a doctor to assume people are addicts when they are in pain. We thought HE could do a nerve block for her. Avoid this doctor.

my impression of dr. evans is that he is cruel, calloused, uncaring, disinterested, extremely judgemental, and dishonest. He never examined me but he judged me and evidently focused on writing pt. notes and twisting my words to support why he decided that i should see a psychiatrist. i have chronic Lyme disease and co-infections including parasites which is normal for Lyme pts. i saw Dr. Evans to request testing for Cystercircosis in brain which is logical. Cystercircosis can be life threatening.

I had one appointment with Dr. Evans, and that was one too many! I have a neuropathy that has been diagnosed that is rare, and he, after seeing me for a matter of minutes, and doing NO tests, stated that I do NOT have this disease, and later in a phone call to me stated that I was a liar in stating that ANY doctor has diagnosed me with the disease. I wouldn't even take my dog to this man, and if there was a zero star rating, I would give it!

Emphatically recommended surgery for spinal stenosis, on CT imaging the patient had no evidence stenosis whatsoever. Completely incompetent. Malpractitioner.

Like the other people on this site I had terrible experience too. My wife almost walked out of the appointment. We literally got into a heated debate on Lyme disease the first time we met. Overall, he has terrible bedside manner. He brought nothing to table but a standard neuro work up and a NCV. He's not up to date on current research and when presented with current info he turned his nose up.

Would have left a zero rating if possible. No doubt the worst clinician I have ever encountered in any field. The fact that he has a license to "practice" on any sentient creature frightens me. Time spent with him is $ in his pocket. Only good of that is he's able to provide for his family. Patient, BEWARE!
