He was my doctor for medical management fo medications. He was my doctor for 15 years, and then he fired me for missing 2 appointments. The office used to call to confirm appointments and didn’t call me. It is sad that he lacks the compassion for a long time patient. He may know his medications but he doesn’t have compassion for his patients after they have been with him.

Dr. Duffy is very easy to talk to. I am on medical maintenance for Bipolar. I mostly just need my lithium prescription refilled. I was diagnosed 30 years ago. I’ve had 4 doctors over this period, as they pass away or retire. I had to find a new doctor in Nevada when I moved here 3 years ago. I am very happy with the type of care Dr. Duffy provides.

I was most pleased with Dr. Duffy. He was clear in his explanations and listened to my concerns. He was very organized in his thinking and listening. I came away feeling tremendous confidence in him as a doctor. His explanations were helpful and his excellent training and education were apparent. I appreciate his "no-nonsense" approach. I highly recommend him and his staff to anyone.

Staff is very, very rude if you miss an appointment. My wife met with Duffy recently for her $195 appointment. While in there, Duffy couldn’t remember why she came in initially over a year ago, and said that he doesn’t seem to have notes about it. He then makes my wife proceed to tell him all of the reasons why she came in initially, which made her very upset. He then proceeded to make her feel dumb for feeling anxious and then threatened to fire her if she missed another appointment. We gone!

Dr. Duffy was tremendously helpful to me when I was suffering with major postpartum depression and OCD. He was reassuring, gave me hope, and got me on the right medications right away when others had failed to do so. I credit Dr Duffy for saving my life. His office staff was also very compassionate and caring. I never waited more than 10 minutes for an appointment. He was a little more expensive than some other practitioners but worth it.

I was having a really tough time. It was getting hard to scrape together enough money for my appointments, so I missed one or two. Out of nowhere Dr. Duffy's office called to 'fire' me - I could no longer be a patient. If someone is suffering from clinical deppression, do really think that was the best way to handle it?
