Was charged for a visit I canceled due to illness. He handles all the billing and it took over a year to have the charged removed. He made me wait 2 full weeks and come in for another office visit to give me negative benign results after scaring me at the first visit by saying it definitely was not a cyst. It was a cyst. He placed an unnecessary marker rather than just draining it. It is painful even a year later. He also handles all text, emails and call reminders. I've asked to be taken off all contacts and every time it results in an INCREASE in calls, 2 to 3 per day! I've never dealt with unprofessionalism at this level. It really constitutes harassment. Horrible experience
I could not keep an appointment with Dr. Canale due to Covid. I was told by the receptionist to stay home and she assured me that I wouldn't be charged. But a year after Dr. Canale suddenly decided that I needed to pay!Stay away from this office. There is a high turnover rate and Dr. Canale himself handles billing and other office matters. Business is in shambles and customer care is horrible.

Excellent Care
Dr Canale is a very knowledgable, caring and compassionate physician. I have been a pt of his for 15 yrs from the first day I learned that I had breast cancer right up until now for yearly checks. During my worst of times, he allayed my fears and over the years, celebrates me for being cancer free. If I have any concerns, he immediately addresses them and answers all my questions. Dr. Canale gives me as much time as I need during my appointments and sends me out with encouraging words. I am grateful for the excellent care I have received, and am blessed to have him on my team.

I Should have read the reviews before scheduling
My experiences with this office have been entirely disappointing. They have been difficult to work with and I would never recommend them to anyone. The other 1 star reviews are entirely accurate. I’m only sorry I lost $$ and time with their practice to accomplish nothing, because I didn’t read the reviews first.

If mistreatment is what you want.. see Dr. Canale
What a terrible experience with the front desk person and doctor. Upon arriving early which they recommended, no one was there to greet me. After 20 minutes, the front desk person appeared and abruptly handed me a tablet and told me to fill out the appropriate information. I mentioned that I already did this online and was here early to do this but she gave me rude looks. I asked if she could be nicer to me since I was a new patient and wasn't sure of the office check in procedure. She replied with mutters under her breath and a nasty look. The doctor told me to leave, accusing me of abusing his staff. My hubby told him the truth of the events. No successful doctor should ever believe a rude employee over a patient. Read the other reviews about this front desk employee and how she behaves. Shame on you as a doctor who allows this behavior to continue to jeopardize his practice, staff and especially patients.

Staff not the most professional
Visit with the mammography tech and the doctor were fine. However, the front desk staff needs lessons in better customer service. There was too much chatter about things a patient should not hear, particularly, negative comments about another patient who just left before I arrived. So much chatter only leads to mistakes in scheduling, patient pre and post service and a less than professional office environment. Hope any future visits present a more patient-friendly environment in the front office, waiting area.

Dr Canale has completely lost my trust. In the last few years, he bought his own equipment and patients no longer have the benefit of the more competent radiation centers to have your mammogram done. He requires frequent ultrasounds and seems totally focused on ways to increase revenue instead of providing excellent care. He has constant staff turnover. Also, I was extremely sick the day of one appointment and called in to let them know. Dr. Canale charged me $100 regardless of my health. This is a man who doesn't care about anyone's health - only his own greed, I am now concerned that I received incompetently performed mammograms and I am trying to get a competent one now. I have been cancer free for awhile but I should have never trusted, him. His waiting room is always empty, too. Only sorry I didn't leave his care sooner.

I visited Dr Canale in Jan 2019 due to an unknown mass in my right breast. He first performed a minimally invasive core biopsy and saw no malignancy. After a discussion on the history of cysts in this breast I desired to have the mass removed and he performed the surgery successfully. He eliminated additional stress in an already stressful situation by explaining what he was doing each step of the biopsy procedure and what to expect. I plan to stay as a patient.

I would strongly suggest you get a second opinion before any operation. Dr. Canale performed a very aggressive and painful surgery on my left breast. It has taken several years to recover. I regret not being better informed and asking for a second opinion. When the same problem arose in my right breast I went to two other doctors, both recommended the same diagnostic, minimally invasive tests before doing any surgery.

This man helped to save my life. I was diagnosed with BRCA1/Triple Negative breast and ovarian cancer (simultaneously) in 2009. Dr. Canale skillfully performed double mastectomy surgery for me. (I have minimal scarring, due to his expertise.) I am grateful to my team of medical professionals and blessed to be alive!
