Used poor judgement. I was told I had a minor femur fracture that was weight bearing. The fracture was not weight bearing. Had a severe fracture resulting in additional surgery which also failed. Had a follow up visit with an X-ray. X-ray revealed my upper & lower trochanter had split. There were 3 metal rings holding the break in place. Told by another orthopedic surgeon only 1 was supporting the break. That surgeon at the time said he would not touch unless infected. In pain everyday! Beware & ask how many failed operations!

Dr. Burns replaced both of my hips and is now treating my right knee.Willing to “think out of the box”, Dr. Burns works with you to determine the best course of action. He is responsive to questions and not threatened by them. Competent, direct, and caring, I trust his skills and know he’s “on my team.”

From the Minute I met Dr. Burns I knew he was the one to do my surgery ! Extremely Knowledgeable!! He answered every question or concern that I and my wife had without any hesitation or pause. Not full of himself like some we have all experienced. He also possesses a great sense of humor, which earns lots of extra points with me.Another quality he possesses is real manners; for example: when he enters into the room he greets my wife first! He also isn’t in rush , and genuinely listens to what we have to say. My Surgical experience was excellent, my pain management was perfect. I very highly recommend Dr Burns if you need care in the area of his specialties.

I like Dr Burns. He asked me a lot of questions about my hip issues after I had CT scan done. He gave me a diagnosis and I asked questions on what could be done. I have complete confidence in Dr. Burns.

Dr Burns performed a total knee replacement surgery n me and it had amazed me how quickly I was able to be mobile. He explained everything very clearly and has been compassionate, efficient, professional and encouraging.

I have had a TPF surgery and one knee replacement so far with Dr Burns I am currently scheduled for a second knee replacement. I highly respect Dr Burns and have even recommended him to do knee replacement surgery to 2 friends. My friends were equally satisfied with his competency and his willingness to answer any questions they had. He is a first rate Doctor in my opinion!

After waiting 48 min past appointment time Dr. Burns spent 7 min. Talking way to fast to understand anything and made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him.

I was under Dr. Burns care for over 2 years from injuries in a mva. My foot was hanging by a small piece. He managed to save it. Because there were so many injuries at one time it had to be divided up into parts for surgeries and treatment. Thankful I had a surgeon who truly knew what he could do to save my foot!

Dr Burns and his staff are a great group of professionals. Always pleasant and willing to take the time to hear you.

He has the keen insight and experience to diagnose and treat and beyond that ensures that the treatment plan or follow-up suits the patient and will work for them. In my experience, he goes above and beyond to educate about the issue so that his patients can make wise choices about self-care and live healthy lives. He treats patients with respect.

How quickly Dr. Burns came in to see me for my appointment.

Met Dr Burns when I ruptured both my quad tendons at the same time several years ago. He did a remarkable job repairing my legs and I don’t have any problems. Walking, biking, hiking, exploring…no issues. Besides his incredible talent as a surgeon, he was great with all my follow-ups. He was encouraging and explained anything I had questions about. I just recently saw him when I had a follow up for a shoulder problem. Dr Burns was welcoming, friendly, and clearly explained all my questions. I highly recommend Dr Burns and trust him implicitly.
