I planned to start to use them as new pain doc. I called & was told that I was put in the system & I could go into the facility to sign releases so that they could obtain my previous records prior to my appt. I was told by staff that they are open from 8 to 5 & I could go up until 5 to sign release & drop off some records (Sign Said Same). I got there at 4:36 to find doors locked. I Knocked & the girl let me in. When I said I was told they were open til 5, she said "not today, when the doctors are done, we are done". Then she handed me a blank release to complete on my own. I have never had a facility not be willing to fill in what is needed. She then told me she could not schedule appointments & I had to call scheduling to do that. She told me to ask them to "mail" me my initial paperwork (32 page packet), so I could fill it out before appt. She could not even hand me that packet of papers. I called to report (left voicemail, never heard back, & not moving forward with them. HORRIBLE!

Feeling better than I have in 7 years, from a (12/12/19) L5 lamenectomy in Texas, I was alerted by the neurosurgeon of scarring on the nerve, from the fusion and subsequent removal of the right side screws, performed by Dr Scott Webb of the Florida Spine Institute. Previously, I had a successful fusion in 2011 at L5-S1, but was in a car wreck in 2012. In 2013, after 9 months of fruitless pain management, FSI Dr Scott Webb said that I needed a fusion, now, at L4-L5. He performed a fusion that caused nerve damage in my right leg and foot, and left me with constant burning, tingling and frequent shooting pain. The pain level never improved, and I was sent back to pain management for all of 2014. In 2015, suggested removal of right side screws, and after that provided no results, said I have Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS). FSI continued injections and other treatments that were never going to help. I still have burning and numbness in my right foot that is probably permanent.

I was seen by Dr Webb on 6/27/19 for a surgical consult. He reconfirmed what I was told after my cervical and lumbar MRI's that I have degenerative disc disease from age. I never even knew I had it. I was told that after being rear ended in a car crash that resulted in severe neck and back pain that the trauma caused me to become symptomatic and we also found that I had disc herniation's due to the accident in my lumbar as well. Dr Webb took as much time as I NEEDED to answer questions and concerns about having to have my cervical spine fused if injections fail to work. My life is upside down since the accident, I have fallen in a bad depression due to the pain, not being able to work and as of 6/28 facing eviction. Of course I have a lawsuit, but that helps me none as of today. The only solace I have at this time is knowing that I have two very special doctors at the Spine Institute who care and more importantly, who I trust with whatever procedures occur in the future. Thank you Dr.

Dr Webb quickly and accurately diagnosed my condition as multiple herniated cervical discs in my neck, Within 1 week he had me scheduled for surgery and performed a cervical disc fusion of 4 discs in my neck and a laminectomy . After 4 weeks the initial pain from the procedures had eased, I have been pain free for the past 3 1/2 years. with NO problems what so ever, only slight loss of head rotations due to the fusion. 100% satisfied

Dr Webb performed L5 fusion on me. I have foot drop after surgery. Dr Webb is unsympathetic to his patients with 2 plus hour waiting room time. He is chronically late for his patients. My surgery scheduled for 7am prep, Dr Webb showed up at 6:50 pm to perform 3 surgeries, I was one. After Surgery i begged to speak with him because my foot and leg was paralyzed. His assistant showed up the next day. Largo medical center also has many complaints. Maybe its a hit or miss with him, and I loss.

Good guy, takes time to explain, good communication and follow up if needed. Never pushes surgery instead offers less invasive procedures. I really liked Largo Medical Center as well. The nursing staff is great compared to any other hospitals I have been at. My experience is seven spine surgeries; Chicago - Santa Fe and now last two by Dr Webb at Largo Med Ctr.

He performed an extremely complex spine surgery on my spine that lasted the entire day. He also performed a several hour surgery on my husband a few years later. Both were successful and he did a terrific job from start to finish. We came all the way from New Jersey to have him perform our procedures and would go to him again with no questions. The wait in the office is long but worth every minute.
