Needs to be Said
I have been under his care since my accident. My accident caused severe glaucoma in my right eye as well as the need to fix the way my iris looked. My previous doctor referred me to Dr. Walsman for this. He checks on me all the time. I do not know what I would have done if he hadn't been around. Thank you, Dr. Walsman

Dr. Walsman has been my favorite doctor since he began caring for me 10 years ago. His bedside manner is just excellent. He listens and engages with me and my family. He is caring and very skilled. Friends of ours who had a highly complex situation came to see him, and he could do what seemed impossible. We love him and recommend him all the time.

So happy to have found him
Dr. Walsman was referred to us through our friends in Montclair. We saw him because my mother had cataract surgery and had a bad outcome. We saw him for a second opinion, and the manner in which he spoke to my mother was darling and compassionate. All told, he operated on her, and she could not be more relieved and happy. Thank you, Dr. Walsman

Superb
What stood out to me about this amazing doctor was the warm and caring way in which he greeted and treated my mother. He has a way in which he instantly makes you feel at ease, and it's as if you're sitting with an old friend. Even when giving bad news, he has a way in which he is able to help you understand your options, and you know he will help guide you through the issues. We all love him and know he is simply the best Ophthalmologist in the world.

Highly Recommend
Dr Waksman is a kind and compassionate doctor. I was referred by my ophthalmologist for a complex eye problem possibly requiring surgery and feeling extremely anxious about it. Dr Waksman was patient, took his time, explained things in a thorough and straight forward manner, addressed all of my concerns and was able to put my mind at ease. He chose a conservative course of action for now with the understanding I may require a small procedure down the road. Also, knowing he is a skilled surgeon I fell confident I am in capable, competent, confident hands.

Dr. Walsman is such a treasure. My mother and I were referred to him from our primary doctor for a second opinion regarding her need for glaucoma surgery. He could not have done a better job breaking down our options and the way in which surgery and care for her should be structured. We loved him so much we have referred most of our friends and family to him. And best of all my mother's surgery went wonderful. We were told by other Ophthalmologists that glaucoma surgery would be very dangerous but Dr. Walsman's skills help her do so well.
