Prostate Cancer
I have been seeing Dr. spore going on three years. I was referred to Dr. Spore by my PCP, for high PSA readings. DR. Spore ran diagnostic testing and found a biopsy was needed. He performed a prostate biopsy, which came back positive for cancer. He then set up a consultation appointment and explained my options in great detail. I chose to have a radical prostatectomy. Dr. spore removed my prostate over 2 1/2 years ago. I have done great and the surgery was a success. I would highly recommend Dr. spore if you are in need of a urologist. He has always taken time at each visit to explain and answer any questions. His staff and nurses are the best. I continue to see him for yearly checkups.

I have been a patient of Dr. Spore since he first started practicing over 16 years ago. I first started seeing him when I was 14 for severe IC. His compassion and state of the art diagnostics set him apart from every other urologist in West Texas . He individually tailors treatment plans for all of his patients with homeopathic as well as other medications. As his patient, you have a “say so” in your treatment plan and he will explain thoroughly so you will leave his office with Peace of mind!!

From the time I walked into his office, I knew I was in the right place! A bible on the coffee table brought me comfort. An illustration of my prognosis gave me a better understanding of my condition. After three years of care, surgery was a must. Again, the entire experience was nothing short of the compassionate care I have received the past three years.Because I look so great after surgery, family and friends often ask me who is your Dr.? I say...... Dr. Spore of course!!!

I've been seeing Dr. Spore to monitor kidney stones related to PKD for almost 2 years. After relocating to Lubbock and having to go through the dance of finding new physicians, Dr. Spore was a great fit. Although I wasn't thrilled about the move to the new location, I found it easy to get to. The layout works well. The rooms are comfortable and inviting. From the time I checked in I was in and out of the office in approximately 40 minutes. Staff was very pleasant... Good sense of humor.

I have been to see Dr.Spore twice and both times the staff have been friendly and professional. I have felt heard by Dr.Spore and my urology problems have improved tremendously! I recommend him to those looking for a new urologist. I know if and when I have problems in the future, I can rely on this office to get to the bottom of it and get me on the way to better health.

Dr. Spore is a very compassionate and knowledgeable physician. His staff is very friendly and welcoming. My grandfather is a patient, and Dr. Spore and his entire staff respected my grandfather's privacy and abided by HIPPA laws. Despite a very busy clinic schedule, Dr. Spore spent 30 minutes on the phone answering all my questions. It is apparent that Dr. Spore cares for his patients and strives to provide excellent care.

They do not answer their phone but instead your calls are automatically sent to their answering service center. (Over-flow). Calls are not returned and no way to make or confirm appointments. Repeated calls or faxes garner no results. Horrible! I would never recommend even trying to see this doctor. Too much trouble. No regard for patients time and efforts. No stars!

Dr. Spore was ok, but his office staff is the worst! The level of disdain and snark they showed several patients was disturbing. They are marginal on laws/standards like HIPAA and PCI. I should never know key medical details or PHI of other patients! I surely could have gone without hearing the disgusting harassment and lack of basic human compassion a terminal cancer patient had to endure when she had trouble paying. I also had a bad experience and did not feel welcome or safe in this place!
