Rotten. Botched my shoulder surgery, didn't even want to review my MRI, said was an easy fix, had to return to the hospital multiple times, he was only concerned about the xray saying the hardware looked good, did not want to hear what i was feeling that the soft tissue was the issue, left one of the bone spurs which was causing me extreme pain, on my second year of pain, seeing a new surgeon who had to remove a bunch of scar tissue, then redo the whole shoulder due to the fact the joint was the wrong size causing it to fail during physical therapy it was grinding down the socket disenigrating it to the point it lodge many pieces in my muscle tissue.

Dr. Slattery is amazing. He has been thorough in explaining diagnosis and what it means. Thorough in deciding care plan options and together coming up with the best care plan. He has been amazing thru my treatment and i have full confidence in him and the staff! Thank you Dr. Slattery!

Dr. Slattery was rude to me the moment that I walked in the door. He did no examination on me and dismissed everything that I had to say about my shoulder. This injury is an L&I claim and I have fought to see a surgeon for a year. His only suggestion was to have more cortisone shots which increased my pain the last time that I had them. He was very dismissive of this information and stated that their guy was good and I didn't have anything to worry about. He never once asked my level of pain or limitations that I have since the injury. I told him my shoulder had crunching sounds in it since I was hurt. Again, dismissive, 'oh that could be anything. ' Yeah, it's called an injury. My shoulder didn't crunch before I was assaulted. I also had an independent medical exam and the doctor thought that I might need surgery since all treatment has failed so far. I noticed that Dr. Slattery was holding a document from his PA and it didn't appear that he had even looked at the IME document.

Dr Slattery is a really nice guy and probably a great surgeon. But be cautious about his diagnostic skills. He didn't follow up with anything - MRI's, post surgery after a few months. When he found something he didn't understand his attitude was its just a mystery. The result was unnecessary extreme suffering for my wife for a year due to 1) no follow up on an MRI he ordered, 2) encountering evidence of bone cancer and he just dismissed as mysterious soft bone.

Very professional, easy to talk to and did a great job on my carpal tunnel surgery. I had a very rapid recovery, though I know that depends on each patient's condition. But I also know I went to the right surgeon. His office saw me quickly and my surgery was scheduled quickly. Everyone was super-friendly. I couldn't be more satisfied..
