I had the absolute best experience with Dr. Sklenicka and his entire staff. Warm, inviting waiting area (where I waited maybe 5 minutes). Dr. Sklenicka was very kind, took plenty of time to explain what the procedure would be and what I would expect. When we started he was very careful and thoughtful. My situation was a damaged tooth (back molar) on which a crown had failed. The underlying tooth had a crack and could not be repaired so extraction was the only option. I had VERY MINIMAL pain (mostly would describe as discomfort 2-3 days following the extraction) - and I attribute that to the professionalism, thoughtfulness and care of Dr. Sklenicka. If you have dental anxiety (like I do - my bp shot through the roof during my appointment) I strongly recommend Dr. Skelnicka and his staff. Very satisfied patient here! My 5-star rating is easy to give and is sincere!

If you read reviews, you know too many 5 star reviews can seem shady. However, from my experience this morning, I can say I stand behind my 5 star rating and echo many of the sentiments of the other 5 star reviews. First, I called at 8am on a Tuesday morning (following a Monday holiday) for an urgent appointment. Fortunately for me, they had just received a cancellation. I was able to be seen the same day. Thank you Shay. Secondly, the front office waiting room is designed as if in someone’s beach house living room. It was clean and decorated in light blue and white with sofas and cushioned caned back chairs. The reason I mention this is because it is relaxing and soothing to the psyche. It is not the typical office chairs lining a wall. Lastly, Vanessa and Dr. Sklenicka were organized, informative and thorough. Dr. Sklenicka reviewed my medical and medicine history, explained the procedure, answered questions, explained post care and did not seem rushed.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sklenicka and his staff. I have horrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist and struggle to go, which is what lead me to having to go to Dr. Sklenicka's office to have 6 teeth pulled which included 2 wisdom teeth. After my initial consult I had almost no anxiety, no sweating, no hands shaking, no nerves. The day of my appointment I was a little nervous but nothing like the past. Just had my post surgery consult and walked right in with no problems what so ever! Dr. Sklenicka and his staff are absolutely AMAZING. Every step along the way was explained to me, they called to verify all details and appointments, friendly, compassionate, professional.... I could go on but will leave it with for the first time in my adult life I was able to go to the dentist (oral surgeon) without feeling like I needed a prescription to calm me down before hand. I visited Dr. Sklenicka's practice twice, before completing the wisdom teeth removal procedure and the visits were a year apart. He was consistent on both occasions with being thorough, patient and confident. He answered my questions, addressed my concerns and ensured I was comfortable. On the day of my procedure, he helped me to be calm and was encouraging through the process which was important to me. The office is pleasant and my procedure went well.

Dr. Sklenicka and his team removed all four of my wisdom teeth at once. Less than an hour,little pain, and i healed up in no time. They are very very friendly. After meeting with Dr. Sklenicka and his team i felt relaxed and i knew i was in great care. The environment was very relaxing The front desk assistants were very nice as well. I would definitely go back.

They worked with my many schedule changes and were always incredibly friendly. I had all my questions answered and my wisdom teeth removal procedure went smoothly! High recommend!

What a refreshing change, in a sometimes world of inferiority! From the minute I made the appointment referred my my dentist, I felt more than confident I was in really good care, and the doctor and his team did not disappoint. When he smiled and said that he knew that me bringing my 73 year old wisdom tooth as an added bonus to his day, I told him he had the perfect demeanor to be dentist. His amazing assistant Laura was also so compassionate concerning my phobia, and she was an amazing assistant. I would highly recommend this extraordinary practice to anyone.

Went to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed at once and he was done under an hour. Everything went well and I did not feel nervous at all during the surgery. The recovery afterward was great too, healed just fine and minimal pain. Will return in the future if I ever need some dental work done.

AWESOME! I needed a tooth extracted, and was a bit nervous. Miss Laura calmed me down, and Dr. Sklenicka calmed me down even more, throughly explaining in plain words I could understand what he was going to do. Before I knew it, the tooth was extracted - just a tiny pinch and it was out in less than 15 minutes! Dr. Sklenicka is jut plain awesome! I did not even need the few pain medicines prescribed, or any over the counter pain meds. All staff very pleasant, polite and professional. Every room was spotlessly clean. My visit and tooth were well worth the 40 mile drive from Amelia Island. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I had been in terrible pain for weeks due to poor care provided by another dentists office. I was able to get a consult appointment quickly and surgery to correct the problem also was scheduled two days later. Dr. Sklenicka and his staff were wonderful. I would recommend them without hesitation.

This was my first ever procedure of any kind and I was very nervous but Dr.Sklenicka and Ms.chamille were absolutely awesome. They worked really well together keeping conversation very light and fun distracting me from the entire procedure. They really take care of you at NFOFS and will definitely come back for any other dental work in future.

I had an infected & Impacted wisdom tooth and they got me in within 24 hours. The whole team is professional and I got excellent care. Mind you - I was a nervous wreck, and Dr. Sklenicka reviewed my options with me, educated me on what to expect and performed the extraction with no discomfort. I thought the patient education materials post op were also well written and helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sklenicka for about 10 years. From the beginning, i was impressed with his skills,and how he gives feedback and counsel in the area(s) of concern about the procedure. Having this knowledge going forward, can ease the anxiety or concerns about the future surgery. The staff is excellence with their patient interaction, and this behavior has been that way from day one. The "Team" creates a comfortable environment for the patients. Good selection of background music.
