Came in for a work injury that got progressively worse in the two weeks between the two appointments I had with Dr. Petersen. He didn’t perform any kind of exam either question, and didn’t seem to take my pain seriously. I told him about my pain to which he responded “hopefully the medicine will help” after prescribing me Aleve. I asked a question about pain I was experiencing and all I got was “the physical therapist should be able to tell you more about that.” I feel like I wasted my time, I’m still in a lot of pain, and I’ve gotten zero help from him. I would strongly advise finding a doctor who actually cares about treating patients rather than settling for this one if you’re injured at work.
