He's Great
Dr. Pautler is an excellent physician. i have been going to him for nearly two years and have been very satisfied with his treatments. He is very concerned about using the BEST treatment for each of his patients. his goal is to make one's eyesight be the best it is possible to be.

Do not go to Dr Pautler; I am a licensed clinical medical social worker. The drops that he uses for dilation are too strong; I am still dilated after 5 days!! I called into the office to speak to Paulter MD twice during the week and he did not call me back. I was not given informed consent regarding the risk of dilation. But when I talked to his assistant, he immediately told me that people with light colored eyes could be dilated for 48 hours; I was never told this. If people with light colored eyes stay dilated longer, why don't they use less dilation solution? Why don't they use a solution that's not as strong? Why don't they warn them?  All good questions but I was unable to speak to the doctor to ask him. The ongoing dilation has interfered with my ability to drive especially at night, my ability to work, my ability to socialize normally but I was not informed of the risks. You have choices about which doctor you go to; don't go to Scott Pautler MD. Kevin

Not compassionate!! Make sure you find a DR who gives you hope and encouragement instead of one that gives you worse case scenario and kicks you when your down. Make sure you get other opinions and there is always always hope!!

I was able to get a first time appt quickly, The office is immaculate. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Dr is caring, thoughtful, polite and thorough. He explains everything in plain language step by step. He is awesome!

Dr. Pautler was one of the best doctor that I ever was seen by. He made me feel comfortable and was very friendly and easy to talk to. He was very informative and took the time to explain it in simple terms. I felt that he was very sincere and caring with my issue. His staff was very friendly and my wait time was minable. I know that I found my Ophthalmologist and I would "HIGHLY" recommend DR. Paulter to anyone who may need help with their vision.

Dr. Pautler saved my left eye!!! Back in 97, I suffered a detached retina in my left eye and was told to go directly to St. Joseph's Hospital. Dr. Pautler was the surgeon who performed the emergency surgery around 9PM that night. I had several tears and was very lucky to regain sight in my left eye thanks to Dr. Pautler!!!! I recommend him without a doubt!!!! Thank you Dr. Pautler for saving my sight!!! GOD bless you

I couldn't have found a better doctor. His staff was very professional and very friendly. Dr.Pautler did a complete diabetic eye exam and explained what he was doing every step of the way and why he was doing it. I was able to ask questions as he went along if I didn't understand something. He takes time to ensure you understand everything. I recommend every I know to him! He is the best!
