My son was asthmatic and he as a baby had reflux. but nobody caught this until we went to see Dr Manning for his constant ear infections. Misdiagnosed severe laryngomalacia as mild
We had visited Dr Manning when my son was 4 months and again at 7 months. Dr Manning kept dismissing my concerns stating my son's LM was mild and at no point would he require surgery since he's growing according to his curve. Each visit was very rushed and I felt dismissed and dejected. After suffering from frequent wakeups, open mouth breathing, and snoring, a year later, we visited another ENT a different clinic. We learned that my son had severe airway obstruction and severe laryngomalacia requiring a supraglottoplasty at 23 months. We are fortunate our son didn't die due to Dr Manning's misdiagnosis.

Dr. Scott Manning performed a sub-par lingual frenotomy or "tongue-tie" procedure on our 1 month old baby that had to be corrected. Dr. Manning was extremely rushed, arrogant, and pushy. Also turns out he lacks knowledge about more current techniques or options and did not explain the procedure well. And we ended up having to get the frenotomy done a second time, but this time with a highly recommended specialist at another clinic. It was night and day experience!
