20 Years Later, I Couldn't Be Happier!
Dr. Hyver was really very helpful, and I recall him answering all of my questions. I asked specifically about dry eye, and he gave me honest feedback on why some people get dry eye, but with his testing, that he mitigated those risks by candidate selection (this was 20 years ago now). Day of surgery, his team took great care of me. Day after, I was 20 10, (but this was an atypically result I was told). I just went to my local eye Dr. and need readers (again, 20 years on), where I'm still tracking 20 15. I wrote this review because I was singing Dr. Hyver's praises to my coworkers about the positive outcome I had, and looked him up again on the internet. Dr. Hyver changed my life for the better, and I am grateful.

I had my surgery about 8 months ago and i Only regret not going sooner. Scott and his staff were helpful, caring and answered all my questions. My boyfriend went with me and they were also patient with his concerns and questions. I did not feel rushed into making a decision nor pressured. The consultation was free and i got to meet Scott 2x before the actual surgery. The day of i was nervous but was able to take meds to relieve my anxiety. The procedure was no more than 10 min long and even though i was not able to drive home I had no pain or nausea. I could have gone to work that evening but i loved my results i decided to go sight seeing instead. It feels so weird not having glasses but it feels good just to put on non prescription sunglasses now. I totally have recommended the office to my coworkers and family. I actually was recommended by my cousin who had hers done there too. Hope this helps those that are on the fence. I say DO IT!

I was very disappointed. Though this was a free consultation with Dr. Hyver, I was never given an option to meet him. Another ophthalmologist explained my test results & said I wasn't a candidate for lasik. I understood but also wanted to hear it from Dr. Hyver & I continued to wait patiently as he was made aware Twice. Seems like when there's no money to be made in your case, he won't meet you & you're expected to leave. So, I wasted my time off from work, my gas & left like they wanted me to.

How was your experience with Dr. Hyver?

About Me

care philosophy

Great LASIK outcomes are born in the patient's pre-operative stage of care, where the patient's vision error is mathematically defined. That's why Dr. Hyver spends so much time with the patient in this phase of the care.
