Dr. Scott Greenbaum, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Greenbaum since 1992. He performed cataract surgery for my mother, and for me. He is extremely knowledgeable and has kept me seeing.

This is by far the best place for eye care I have ever visited! I was having some issues with my vision due to irritation, so I knew I needed to talk to an Ophthalmologist. From the first phone call I made where a friendly voice answered the phone, to my interaction with Dr. Greenbaum, their concern and care for my eyes, I knew I had come to the right place. He was able to diagnose what was ailing me and develop a plan of treatment immediately. He was instrumental in helping to relieve my fear over what was affecting my eyes, and I cannot thank him enough! If you are looking for an eye specialist in Forest Hills, don't hesitate to come to Dr. Greenbaum!

Dr. Greenbaum is a wonderful doctor. He truly cares about his patients. I appreciate his skill as well as the special care for his patients.

Dr Greenbaum is very professional and caring. He referred me to Dr Assil to get my eye lasik done and did a great job on the recovering and follow up visits. He assured me that my eyes are good all the time after the lasik. The office staff are so nice either on the phone or in person every time.

My first comprehensive eye exam with Dr. Greenbaum exceeded expectations. The entire team was warm, gentle, and informative, guiding me through each step. Dr. Greenbaum's advice was valuable, and the overall experience left me confident in their expertise. I look forward to returning for routine exams, knowing I'm in capable hands.

Dr Greenbaum found an active pigmented tumor in the back of my eye on a routine check up and sent me to a major cancer hospital - where it was treated successfully - Thank you Dr Greenbaum - you have a patient for life (hopefully a long one).

I had an eyelid infection that I thought was COVID - Dr Greenbaum took one look at it and knew it wasn’t. He put me on the right antibiotic and it got better starting the next day - in a week I was all better. He is now my eye doctor for life. I brought my kids to see him and they loved him.

I visited Dr. Greenbaum twice because I had blurry vision during 2 months. He took more than a month to give me a diagnosis, he did all the tests possible ($2k bill) and ended up telling me that I must have some kind of allergy. I visited 3 different doctors after this who confirmed within 20 minutes that I had advanced cataracts in both eyes. I have had surgery. Furthermore, I have been trying to get in touch to ask for a refund and never got a response...

I am visiting Dr Greenbaum for the past 20 years.. He cares a lot about each patient he has. He is so good that my daughters & my niece - are under his excellent supervision.. He is very much dedicated to his profession. My blessings to him & his family. Meenu

He is a great doctor (knowledge and patient treatment). However, I noticed few things quite often and therefore I had to change my doctor:His assistant overbook appointments and the doctor processes patient slowly, hence the big crowd. Last time, I got an appointment at 9, I arrived on time, and there were 2 patients ahead of me, I was not processed until 10 and I left the office and there was still 1 patient ahead of me when I left. Dr. has to realize that our time is important too.
