OMGTB Regarding my total hip replacement
Regarding my total hip replacement: What a pleasant experience dealing with Dr. Scott Goldsmith and OMGTB ... from the office staff, the physical therapist, the physician's assistant, the x-ray tech, the surgical crew at Advanced Surgery Center of Tampa in pre-op and post-op, and every other person I've dealt with during this entire adventure ... they have all been great. From the very beginning of my contact with OMGTB, everyone was extremely sympathetic of my situation and supportive in my needs and care in the most professional manner. My doubts and fears were allayed at every turning. The level of compassion and support would be hard to surpass ... and consequently in only three weeks I am walking pain free without the aid of cane or walker for the first time in years. Thank you to one and all!

He did my LTKR. Knowing I have balance issues, & would have to navigate parking lots to go shopping after my surgery, I requested a temporary disabled parking permit for the first few months so I wouldn't have a long way to walk to the store as I have fallen in parking lots before - uneven ground, can't run if it's raining.. I was told "I'm sorry, he doesn't do that, he wants you to walk as much as possible". Then towards the end of my Leave from work I made an appt to see the Dr, as I had concerns about returning to work, as I could only return w/o restriction. I felt I should still be under restriction as I am having issues with pain & fatigue which require breaks & rest. The Dr wasn't even there during appt, I waited in the exam rm for almost an hour when his PA came in. I began to voice my concerns, she proceeded to ignore me/cut me off, & kept saying "you should be fine, you can return" Also part of incision was not healing, she prescribed a drug that Im allergic to-on chart

My opinion of this Office is horrible as first appointment was scheduled and then Dr.Goldsmith was not going to be there so I rescheduled. 2nd visit I didn’t meet Dr. Goldsmith as promised . They gave me a shot and said they would schedule therapy and no calls for any direction to prepare for surgery afterwards as promised..Then they let me know for another appointment and I asked what for ? They said for a follow up. Nothing was explained. This Office is run terribly and would never recommend to anyone that really needs help. I got the image Dr. Goldsmith is not as caring as he comes across in other responses to other people that had a horrible experience. I have seen 4 Orthopedic Surgeons and this has kept me back from anyone doing surgery on me because of the shot. Absolutely just a waist of time and no guidance ??

I had knee replacement surgery performed by DR Goldsmith recently. This was a follow up appointment. All of my experience during this procedure from preoperative to postoperative has been professional and very successful. Dr Goldsmith and his staff have been caring and supportive. I would highly recommend this practice to my family and others who have orthopedic issues.

I just had total knee replacement of my right knee on December 17, 2020. I had a partial knee replacement on that same knee March 11, 2020. The partial knee replacement had separated and Dr. Goldsmith had to take out the partial and replace it with a new joint. I was somewhat apprehensive about going to a Surgery Center for an outpatient total knee replacement as everyone I knew had to stay in the hospital overnight. My apprehension soon was dismissed as everyone in the Surgery Center was super attentive. I took a Kindle book to read and was only left long enough for me to read one and half pages! My left knee also has a partial knee replacement and if I have to repeat the surgery, I will definitely have Dr. Goldsmith do it at the Surgery Center again. Joan Conway - January 6, 2021

Dr. Goldsmith is very attentive and did both of my hip replacement surgeries flawlessly. He is always friendly and kind when you see him; fantastic surgeon! All of his staff are wonderful as well in the St.Pete office where I saw him. I would recommend both Dr. Scott and Dr. Goldsmith easily, both are great!!

Dr. Goldsmith has a horrible bedside manner, he did not help me with my lower back nerve damage issues. He is all for the Workmen’s Comp. lawyers and not his patients, I would not recommend anyone going to him.

Dr. Scott Goldsmith did hip replacement surgery on both my hips one in 2012 & the other in 2013. I healed exceptionally well. Now in 2020 I had reason to visit the Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic where I now live. X-rays show that my hip surgery is still doing excellent. Thank you Dr. Goldsmith Barbra Joan

Dr. Goldsmith was very professional and reassuring. He stated exactly what was going to happen during the procedure and answered my questions. After my procedure, the pain levels were at a minimum and was well managed. I was up walking around without the use of a walker within four days of the operation. I have heard through others that have had total knee replacement how painful the procedure was. I have to admit that things have gone very smooth and painless thats the Dr. Goldsmith's experience and care for his patients.

I had my total knee replacement done at a Surgery Center 3 months ago. I loved being able to go home the day of surgery. Going to a surgery center instead of a hospital is something we both decided. I go to the office in Plant City and the entire staff is friendly. I waited no more than 20 minutes for each of my appointments. Dr. Goldsmith is no nonsense, to the point and that is what I like. He answered all of the questions I had for him and explained the surgery. Everyone in the Plant City office is professional, friendly and got me in and out of there in a timely manner. After 3 months post surgery, I am feeling good. I can already do so much more than I could do before my surgery. I know I will need a total knee replacement surgery on my other knee in the future and Dr. Goldsmith will definitely be performing my surgery.

Dr. Goldsmith is am amazing surgeon! He did a total knee replacement (TKR) and I couldn't have asked for better results. The Orthopaedic Medical Group of Tampa Bay recently added a TKR course to let you know what to expect, short and long term, and answer any questions. I was contacted by a home care company wanting to arrange home therapy, moving later to a fixed treatment facility. All-and-all, the total TKR solution!
