Dr. Scott Epstein, DO

He seemed ok during pregnancy visits, didn’t deliver because he wasn’t on call. Post delivery, didn’t go over any self-care/recovery instructions. At my annual checkup I had some hormone issues/concerns. He didn’t address my issues holistically or professionally. I would highly recommend seeing another doctor if you’re an at-risk pregnancy or you’re looking to find some one to take a holistic approach to your health involving hormones, thyroid, PCOS, endometriosis, etc.

Dr. Epstein, listened to all of my concersn and was so patient with me. He was as non invasive as possibe which is what I wanted. I felt he was knowledgabe and I was very comfortable with his care.

I am a nurse at Jordan Valley and work with Dr. Epstin frequently. He is very good with his patients, He is patient, and practices in a way that I would most definately send my loved ones to.

I am a labor and delivery nurse. I recommend Dr. Epstein as your OBGYN care he is kind, knowledgeable, and known for his least invasive practices.

Disappointing

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Epstein, who delivered my last baby several weeks ago. Throughout my pregnancy, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and explained everything so I could easily understand, and then discussed options for any treatments or procedures. He is very patient, kind, and has wonderful bedside manner. Of all my pregnancies, this was the smoothest, and it was also my easiest delivery thanks to Dr. Epstein as well as the incredible nurses and staff at Riverton Hospital. Sherrie was also wonderful during all of my prenatal appointments. She always kept me informed of everything going on, and she was so pleasant to see at the beginning of every appointment. I can’t recommend the Dr. Epstein and Sherrie team enough and even though we are moving soon I will make the (almost) hour long drive to make sure I continue under their care. 10/10

Dr. Epstein has delivered all 5 of my children. Every single time has been a great experience that I wouldn’t go to any other doctor. He is always attentive, thorough, and very informative. His nurse Sheri is also great as well!

I would highly recommend Dr. epstein. I saw him for my Pregnancy as it was my first I had a lot of questions concerns ect. He was always very informative, easy going and makes you feel comfortable. He was so great especially when it came to the Birthing part he was so caring and an amazing coach. I won't see anyone else.

Our doctor has just been nothing but amazing. With our first two kids we had different doctors, once we met Dr Epstein there was no other doctor for us and we have 7 kids now. Not only was he a very competent doctor with no issues what so ever, especially with how picky my husband and I can be. His social skills and knowing how to make my husband and i comfortable is hard to find. We are done with having children now but we will always miss Dr Epstein. He has been a big part of our lives for this past decade. Dr Epstein is truly a doctor sent from Heaven.

Best delivery ever

This was the worst doctors experience I’ve ever had in my life. I’m new to the area and looked up Dr Epstein’s reviews and decided to give him a try. I went in originally to makes plans to have a procedure done to help with my endometriosis. Both my grandma and mom have been diagnosed with endometriosis and you can’t diagnose it with the naked eye. He had me lay down then he pressed on my stomach and said, “you don’t have it.” (I have since been diagnosed with it) He then placed an IUD that I have since learned that if you have endometriosis you should NOT used this IUD. Absolutely unacceptable. He rushed me because, “I have several other patients today.” After the IUD I passed out twice and was left alone naked for 30 minutes in absolute pain. I had a nurse check on me once who brought me two crackers then left me alone for at least 15 minutes. I was in so much pain, alone, and uncared for. I am in shock that he has such positive reviews. Worst experience ever. Not even worth 1 Star.

I love Doctor Epstein he always makes me feel like I’m his only patient and he makes sure I understand absolutely everything that is going on. I started having 3 week periods and he was able to figure out what was going on and fix it! He is seriously amazing!

Dr. Epstein & his staff are kind & informative. I appreciated their transparency with all my questions. I felt calm & knew that they had mine & my baby’s best interest in mind. You’ll leave here feeling like family, & Dr Epstein will be your OBGYN for life!

When I was looking for an OB I did a lot of research and called different offices and "interviewed" the nurses. We just got home from the hospital with my second child and I am so grateful to have found Dr. Epstein. I had a good experience with first child but I was concerned if it was just good luck. My second pregnancy was so different from my first, it was a lot harder. Dr. Epstein was again, great to work with. Labor and delivery went smooth and throughout my pregnancy his staff was great!

I LOVE Dr. Epstein. I feel like he has gone out of his way to make sure our deliveries and pregnancies go as smoothly as possible. After our first child was born we moved about one hour further away from his office, but I like him so much it was still worth the drive to see him for our second and third pregnancies. I will always go to him and recommend him to all of my family and friends.

Dr. Epstein is fantastic. He is fast, friendly and made the delivery of our daughter as smooth and memorable of an experience as you could hope for

Dr. Epstein has left me very dissapointed. He always tries to rush out of the room after 3 to 4 minutes. Every time I had a pregnancy question his answer is always "If you are not 24 weeks there is nothing we can do." I even had bleeding and he told me just to stay home and wait it out. I have since been informed that there are many treatments performed for pregnancy problems before 20 weeks even. I have also had to call his nurse back multiple times to get a response.

I gained a lot of weight for my pregnancy and he told me I was having a small baby and recommended being induced, on the day of delivery he was a terrible coach to help with my delivery he kept checking his watch and after I asked for a c-section he stated "that will be more paperwork" and acted like it was an inconvenience. When my daughter was born she was over 9 pounds had I known and been more informed I would never have pushed and damaged my cervix endangering my 2nd child'support pregnancy
