As other's have experienced Dr. Celin is dissmisive and uninformative. I was 26 and began experiencing estatian tube dysfunction with my inner ear (as identified by PCP). After 9 months of increasing pain, disrupted sleep, and difficult swallowing I see Dr. Celin. By the end of the appointment he says verbatim, 'think about your feet in your shoes, you don't feel your toes in there all day, but when you focus on them you notice every toe.' This was to suggest I was hyper fixated on my symptoms. Reading other reviews for him makes me genuinely furious, because his genuine recommendation, again, verbatim was, 'deal with your symptoms as long as you can.' yet on this very site he told someone 'you've been dealing with it for this long, why change now?' utterly ridiculous, a doctor should never suggest you ignore your symptoms

Personable, knowledgeable, and reassuring
Dr. Celin was incredible every step of the way. He answered my questions and spent time with me to explain everything about my procedure. He even personally followed up with my partner a few hours after surgery to check in on my status! Dr. Celin really cares about his patients, and it's clear that he loves what he does. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing ENT treatment!

I have a medical condition that restricts my breathing. I was denied my appointment today because I could not wear a mask due to not being able to breathe. I had to take my 3 month old baby out in 29° weather. Taking her out of the car and walking through the parking lot I was having a hard time breathing. All to be denied my appointment when I have a medically documented breathing condition! Dr. Celin refused to see me. I was not about to restrict my breathing more and risk passing out let alone when I have my 3 month old daughter with me. Absolutely absurd after making sure I was on time for my appointment with a baby!

Do your research
I like many patients, searched for a highly rated ENT in my area. Dr. Celin came up. However, I should have done more research and checked out reviews beforehand. I was prescribed two unnecessary medications (I do not have a sinus infection) and I was told by Dr. Celin it's his plan of action to prescribe medications because my two-year-old CT scan showed chronic sinus inflammation. I was told to get another opinion by another doctor, and I will gladly do so! Please find another provider to go to. Don't waste your time or copay.

Nice, professional doctor who cares
Had a great first experience going to Dr. Celin’s office at Passavant. His staff was nice and efficient, and he was really helpful in addressing my concerns and evaluating and then educating me on the issue I was having. He listened to my concerns and gave feedback accordingly. It was clear he cared about helping me resolve my issue. Office was clean and everyone was really professional.

"I’ve known Dr Celin for many years. He performed my surgery a number of years ago as well as surgery on two of my grandchildren and the outcomes were excellent. He listens and offers well thought out opinions. He is patient, kind, and caring. I recommend him highly.

I hope this man loses his license he is not a real dr. He doesn’t want to help anybody he will simply sit you down and tell you how wrong you are. He simply dismissed me and my issues by telling me “i breathe too hard”. My nostrils collapse when I breathe any harder than I do while sitting and resting. He told me that no normal person breathes like that. He bragged about being the plastic surgeon for the Pittsburgh Pens. I asked him if he ever breathes any heavier than he was during my appt. like with exercise for example. No answer. I then asked if I was an athlete or played for the NHL if he would treat me. Again no answer just a blank stare. He was useless. Again I hope this sorry excuse for a dr loses his license. Celin if you see this I would love to hear your excuse for your arrogance, disrespectful and plain rude attitude. Leave a comment or a decent referral. Give me the operation so I can have a normal life and exercise once again

My first visit with Dr. Celin a year ago was good but since returning I found him to be shockingly dismissive, rushed and annoyed. I most recently spent nearly $300 on a four minute visit that was entirely useless. Moreover, it's been a nightmare trying to get my prescription, because his office sent it to the wrong place. It's impossible to get through to them. I sat at Walgreens for over an hour before giving up. I will go elsewhere for my ENT care.

went in as i have ringing in my ears. the intitial exam, as well as the hearing test were beneficial. my time with the actual specialist however felt rushed, and not very informative. even though not much can be done about ears ringing, i said more than he did. luckily i did some homework online, and thought of things to ask, otherwise i wouldnt have gotten far. i dont recommend going there

ZERO stars. Dr. Celin performed a septorhinoplasty with turbinate reduction. He made cosmetic changes to my nose that were NOT discussed. I wanted one thing changed and he changed my whole nose. Functionally, my nose is WAY worse than before. There is not enough support in it. My nose shifted back completely. My turbinates are botched and should have been left alone. I think my septum is perforated. I struggle to breathe now all day and night due to his surgery to “help” my breathing. In addition, his bedside manner is extremely rude. Do NOT go to this man, let alone have him operate on you.

He diagnosed me with a paralyzed vocal cord and said there was nothing more I could do for tjis condition. Fortunately, I was able to pursue this with others and found that Dr. Libby Smith was a specialist in vocal cord repair. I would never refer anyone to him. I do not believe he serves the medical profession very well.

I was approximately 5 minutes late for my appointment with Dr. Celine due to extenuating circumstances. And in return for being late, I sat in the exam room for 1 hour. Dr. Celine called me out on being late and continued with his rude demeanor throughout my visit which lasted approximately 5 minutes. I paid a $40 copay only to be treated with such disrespect. He actually yelled at me throwing his hands up in the air and shrugging his shoulders when I asked for suggestions on what I could do to help myself. He actually said that at my age, I've put up with this problem for so long why change now. I would never recommend this unkind, uncaring doctor to anyone.

My 22 year old son saw Dr. Celin regarding a swollen lymph node. He was to have a biopsy on April 15. They canceled his appointment the business day before it and he had to reschedule. A 22 year old waiting to find out if he has cancer - and they tell him they can get him in Mid May - or with a different Dr. April 30. They canceled on him because of something coming up for the Dr. they day he is supposed to return from vacation and tell him oh, you can wait a month. Really?

Arrogant sums up his attitude. By the way, the staff is monotone and unfriendly. Front desk guy chastised me for being late when I wasn’t. I guess if it takes me 10 minutes to check in because of line at all check in monitors, it will appear I’m late. On a good note, I was called back right away and didn’t wait for appointment. Guess I wasn’t late after all.

This group pushed $5000.00 hearing aids on my 90 year mom. Within 30 days if not satisfied get something else. My mom complained, their responce give it a longer try. Of course now out of the trial window. My mom can't hear a phone conversation, can't hear in church. They stole from a 90 something grandmother. They have no conscience.

This doctor was terrible. He seemed like he wasn't paying any attention to what I was saying and came to a conclusion before he would even let me finish explaining my symptoms. He made me feel stupid and the person I brought with me to the appointment also felt that he was rushed, wasn't listening, and was completely unhelpful and dismissive. I went into the appointment in pain, and left feeling even worse.
