Very compassionate and thorough. Gets information before seeing so is current. Researches unknown diseases which aren't many.

Can be a good doctor sometimes
Dr. Brown seemed to be very caring when it came to an elderly friend of mine. I liked him at first, but after a decade not so much. I had hip pain for several years and I would tell him about it and nothing. After several years, he finally looked at notes from a surgeon and got me a second opinion. I should have been more assertive or just seen another doctor sooner. I felt really let down by him.

Dr. Brown is an excellent doctor, but after leaving multiple messages for the nurse over several weeks, the phone calls and faxes were never answered even though the message says calls will be returned by the next day. When I reached someone at appointments, I was told there was no record of my mom being there even though she had been his patient for years. The doctor is poorly represented by his staff.

Dr. Scott Brown was recommended to me by Dr. James Metrailer whom I have the most respect for as a person & a doctor. Dr. Brown was very kind & sincere about my health. I have had some health concerns over the past week or two which has to do with the inability to breath. I left a message for Dr. Brown on Tuesday of this week, (12/1/20}. He returned my call on Wednesday morning & ordered a chest x-ray. I was told the radiologist would read it that day. I have left messages for Dr. Brown regarding the results of this x-ray and as yet he has not returned my call. It is now Friday, 12/4/2020 at 9:26 p.m. Question to me: Should I look for a new doctor?????
