Quality Care
Dr Boswell's care and performance of a difficult surgery was above reproach. His office staff friendly and efficient. Dr Boswell not only listened, but he heard what we said. He spent a lot of time with us, did not rush. He suggested surgery which we knew was needed . Dr Boswell addressed our pain control and rehab concerns and answered all our questions. His nurses were very friendly and efficient, and also answered our questions. My husband's recovery from his first spinal fusion which was done in another state 3 years ago,was horrible, No pain control. Dr Boswell's orders for post-op pain control were excellent and this was advantageous for my husbands recovery . We highly recommend Dr Boswell. I see patients complain about their surgeons and perhaps the patients expectations are unrealistic for their care.

He was overbooked the Friday afternoon of my appointment. He did not take the time to make an accurate diagnosis. He very quickly told me I needed very invasive surgery at much larger hospital. So I went to a doctor (Dr. Tomes) who is top of the field, where I was given the proper help and knowledgeable information that I needed. He does not recommend the surgery that Dr. Boswell told me to have, but instead offered numerous things to do to improve my heath situation.

My 87 year-old mother (with severe osteoporosis) fell and had the worst type of hip break possible. We were absolutely THRILLED and HONORED to have Dr. Boswell perform the operation. We had been warned that she would most likely need an "open" surgery to insert the rod from her hip to her knee. Dr. Boswell was able to successfully accomplish the surgery with only small incisions! His bedside manner is simply the best - so attentive, kind and he agreed with us that prayer was useful!

Dr. Boswell and his staff are very friendly and professional. ~I wish I would have seen him sooner! Dr. Boswel is very professional yet personal and makes you feel like you are his only patient. I never had to wait to be seen and Dr. Boswell himself called to check on me after surgery. I could not have had a better experience!!!

We researched neurosurgeons for my cousin who needed to have a hematoma removed from his cranium. Dr. Boswell has a good rating and is a GREAT person AND doctor. He took all the time needed to answer our many questions and asked my cousin several times if he understood and still wanted to go through with the procedure. He was very receptive to joining us in prayer before the surgery. No matter what the surgery there is always risks involved when opening our complex bodies whom GOD designed.

Botched a simple procedure and left my loved one severely disabled where no previous disability was present. Risk of surgery yes, but this was beyond a normal reaction. Would recommend travel to bigger city for brain surgery. Does not belong in Salina.
