Dr. Scheffel has treated my son for many years for various sports injuries. We have never felt rushed during an appointment or pushed in any direction that didn't seem logical. He takes the time and answers all questions and is open to consulting with colleagues and others to problem solve. He does what he says he is going to do, when he says he will do it. Knowledgeable, responsive and respectful.

He was patient and provided me the needed information for me to make an informed decision regarding my care. He didn't expect me to immediately rush into surgery, instead he outlined options for me and discussed my quality of life. It was a respectful approach.

Dr. Sheffel has treated me for several problems involving my knee, lower back, SI joint, and torn shoulder labrum. He listens, evaluates and treats the problem. He has a vast experience of working with athletes so his goal is to get you back to doing what it is you love to do. He has also treated my teen-aged daughter for knee and foot injuries. She listened to his recommendations and followed his advice so he must have a secret when it comes to communicating with teenagers. Recommend!

Dr. Scheffel is a problem solver. He didn't just assume he knew what was wrong, but really looked at what was going on and took me seriously. I've gone to him for a couple of out-of-the ordinary things that other doctors brushed me off about. He listened, did some quick on-site tests, and came up with very helpful solutions. And he follows up.
