Dr. Satya Atmakuri, MD

He diagnosed my problem and with stents was adept at repairing my heart damage.

I can not speak highly enough about Dr Atmakuri. He was extremely thorough in his diagnostic testing and procedures. I found him very personable and easy to talk to. Everything was explained to me in ways a non medical person could understand. I had to have a few heart stints put in and it was an extremely difficult procedure. It was first attempted at an outpatient surgery center but due to complications during the procedure it was not able to be completed and was rescheduled to be done at the hospital. What should have taken an hour took over 4. I truly believe any other Dr would have given up. He is an excellent doctor and I cannot recommend him high enough.

I made an appointment with Dr. Satya Atmakuri because I had most of the symptoms of Venous Stasis Dermatitis and my Dermatologist recommended to see Dr. Atmakuri to rule out chronic venous insufficiency. Blackening of the skin on my right foot was getting worse. Pain and swelling were present. Black spots on my foot and legs were present. Dr. Atmakuri took one look at my foot and leg and compared it to the photos of legs with vein problems. He said there is no venous insufficiency and the skin discoloration, swelling and the crusty , scaly skin were due to a skin infection. He did not even suggest any lab test and ultrasound to confirm the absence of venous insufficiency So I went to see another Vascular Cardiologist and I'm now being treated properly for my vein problems

Not a success. Narrowminded..unwilling to do clinical trial regarding vascular disease

Dr. Atmakuri is a fabulous doctor. Thoroughly explained everything and answered all questions.
