Dr. Sashidhar Ganta, MD

I'm just not sure. My first time with him was exemplary. This time not so much. They have missed 2 appointments back to back with me. I can't believe all the money I paid and all the after care I'm not getting. I'm very disappointed this time. And I don't think there is a way to rectify it.

Dr. Ganta is the absolute best Dr. I’ve ever had. When I was researching surgeons in my area I found him and refused to continue looking. It was either Dr.Ganta that would do my surgery or I just wasn’t going to have surgery at all. His education and experience are what drew me in. Then after meeting him I knew I had made the right decision. He’s very personable and is always willing to listen. And I’m that patient that goes in to every appointment with a list of 50 questions. When it came to my actual surgery I was extremely nervous but he assured me all would be well. I had the most amazing recovery with zero issues. Everyone is different but I didn’t even have pain immediately after. He really is the best and I love his staff as well. I’ve read some reviews that weren’t great about his staff but it seems that he finally has his long term crew and they are all great. Super friendly and always helpful when I need anything.

Doctor Ganta is amazing!! His staff is so friendly and helpful. He performed a gastric bypass procedure on me. He did an outstanding job!! He's the kindest person ever. He’s very attentive and pays attention to your needs. I highly recommend him ??

Horrible experience with his staff! Extremely unprofessional discourtious and completely ignored repeated requests for help when I was in pain after surgery. Every appointment the doctor was at least half an hour behind sometimes an hour, communication with his staff would sometime take up to 4 days to receive a response. Twice after surgery I had to wait more than 48 hours when I was in a high level of pain for anyone from his office to even respond and that's only because I kept calling them repeatedly until someone would answer the phone and speak to me. I will be filing an official complaint with the Texas medical board and I hope that I'm not actually having severe complications because I'm still less than 2 weeks post-op and they have been unwilling to address my concerns appropriately.

I adore Dr. Ganta. He performed my gastric sleeve in January and my gallbladder removal last week. Dr. Ganta is incredibly kind and caring while being straightforward and realistic. I’m so glad I found him and I could not recommend him enough.

3 years later and I’m still having issues

I had surgery 1 week ago and today I came into Dr. Ganta's office for my post OP visit only to find myself waiting over an hour past my appointment time. I wish they would have told me before my surgery that this doctor double books patients and that I would end up being just be another number. When I tried to reschedule the receptionist said the doctor didnt have another opening until July.Really I am week out from surgery and now they want me to wait 8 weeks without a follow up. Unprofessional

Dr. Ganta is an amazing Dr. He is straight and to the point, and always informs you of expectations. He saved my life. With his help, I now have a different life. I am so energetic and off medication I took for years! Great office staff that makes you feel like they personally care for you while on your journey. Highly recommended!

I STRONGLY recommend him. I am one of his many satisfied patients. I researched about this, attended surgeons seminars, met with other surgeons, interviewed them, asked them questions, compared what they had to offer, and decided for him, after nearly losing hope to recover my health. He is highly respected and recommended by peers and other surgeons. He has the best credentials, training and is the most experienced. He is very meticulous, organized, focused.

Dr. Ganta did my gastric bypass and by anyone’s judgement it has been a success. I have lost approximately one third of my body weight in a matter of six months and am at the dietician’s ideal. At 67, according to many I look more than ten years younger. If the patient just follows his advice I believe you will achieve your expectations and possibly more. For me, the objective was not so much weight loss but to control diabetes and high blood pressure and it worked.
