Dr. Sasa Espino, MD

Staff filed insurance incorrectly. I am still waiting to see if that has been taken care of. Don't know if the doctor receives her messages but have left 3 requesting a return call since being seen 3 months ago and have not received a call. Had to call twice before anyone could tell me that my prior records were received. I had no issue with the doctor when I was seen. My visit with her was to see if she agreed with the diagnosis and if surgery was necessary. I am assuming it is not since no one has called to say otherwise. I don't know what the issue is and I understand being busy, but I don't think my expectation is unreasonable.

My mother has been seeing Dr Espino for about a year. She is a wonderful surgeon and doctor! She explains all options and uses a three doctor panel to review all cancer treatment plans. She is wonderful, caring and experienced.

I was referred to Dr. Espino by my PCP. My first visit was very comfortable. The office personnel are welcoming with a smile. Dr. Espino communicated well with me concerning my issue. I was given options. I found out that she has compassion & truly cares for her patients. I recently had surgery at Chippenham Hospital where Dr. Espino performed my surgery. Upon getting there I was nervous because it was a female problem she would be working on. I was happy & amazed at the care I was receiving. My nurses were all women, my anesthiologist was a female, & even inside the operating room they were women healthcare givers accept one who was also kind. Thank you Dr. Espino for the great experience throughout this journey. I am a 3 time cancer survivor who feels pretty good. With the surgery you performed on my body, you gave me a lifetime gift. I have more confidence in myself. Your entire staff is great!

I have a wonderful patient relationship with Dr. Espino and her staff. I went to her initially for a second opinion after experiencing no change in treatment from my original physician- diagnosed for an infection and never took me off of the antibiotics or looked for other possible issues. Dr. Espino listened to my history, asked questions, did further testing and was very through. I have been her patient for about 18 months now. Enjoy her and her staff immensely. Recommend her highly!

She is a wonderful Dr. I feel she takes a lot of tie with her patients and doesn’t rush us. I’m very satisfied with my surgery outcome.
