Dr. Sariely Sandoval, MD

I only seen her once in Livonia and she's by far the best I've ever seen, she's very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable, I've tried to see her again but haven't been as lucky. I'd recommend her to anyone if I knew where she was at

My 88 year old Af.Am. grandmother was seen by this dr. for Covid-19. She was sent home w/ mild symptoms. When asked why Mrs. Counts wasn't given the MAB therapy, the Dr.'s response was, "My bad". She said that she would put in a referral and someone would call her NEXT WEEK. When questioned regarding the need to have the therapy within the first 7 days of the onset of the symptoms, she said it was TEN days. When I asked her if this referral would result in antibody therapy within the permissible time frame, she was noncommittal. When I told her that, "MY BAD" was not an acceptable response to the failure to offer a life saving therapy she was ambivalent. I asked for an administrator w/ whom I could register a formal complaint, she told me to, "hang up & call back"! With MI cases at a national high & people of color being disproportionately affected by Covid-19, I find her patient care & her lack of accountability symptomatic of the disproportionality that plagues my community.

I went to the ER and she treated me, she's respectful, clever, driven to find the right answer, LISTENED TO ME, worked to get the care I needed, makes orders without arguing she's spectacular at explaining why shes doing what she's doing, has very calming presence, and is just pleasant to talk to. Best doctor I've encountered at Beaumont, I wish I could have her treat me for everything, But obviously I try not to end up in the ER.
