i would leave zero if it was possible, does not listen, very entitled.

Worst experience ever
I went to Dr. Aziz because I moved to town and couldn't find somewhere I could be prescribed the same medicines which worked well for me in Virginia. Dr. Aziz decided I was bipolar and put me on Latuda. Worst decision ever. I kept telling him I wasn't being help by this drug but he didn't believe me and told me to keep trying it.

I am here five years after having been a patient of Dr. Aziz to say don’t go anywhere near this man. It has taken me a long time to reconcile what I went through as a patient of his because I’ve tried to block it out of my memory entirely. This man doesn’t care about improving the health of his patients. He treats you like a lab rat, and believes every phycological disorder has a textbook name, textbook cause, textbook solution. When I tell you this man has scarred me for life—this is not an exaggeration. Please if you’re considering getting treatment for yourself or another, avoid Dr Aziz and the University Behavioral Center at all costs.

The first thing he did was take me off the drugs I was on and prescribed others. I worsened and he kept changing. Ultimately I couldn’t leave my bed. Very condescending.

I see him every month and his wise as he is kind and helpful. One of the few in his field that seems to care about the future of his patients. I always highly recommend Dr. Aziz for anyone looking for fair treatment and helpful advice. He is always very easy to reach and book appointments with. No complaints from the last couple of years seeing him.
