glad she retired
She told me I shouldn't have more kids given my medical history and refused to remove my IUD. I saw various specialists who all gave me the OK to have another child even though I was high risk and had an OBGYN remove the IUD. Had another child within a year with an uncomplicated pregnancy and delivery. She would not listen, one time answered a personal phone call in the middle of our visit. Kept trying to convince me to get weight loss surgery and that everything was due to my "depression coming back" despite my bout of depression being resolved for over a decade. I finally left her care, got properly treated, and live a pain free, more active and healthy life because my issues were actual medical problems and not depression and didn't need to be fixed with weight loss surgery. She was my primary care provider and caused me years of unnecessary continued pain because she chose to not investigate my claims.

Dr. Roskam has been my PCP for many years, and also has treated other members of my family. She is intelligent, caring, listens carefully, and has a very dry wit. She communicates in a very straightforward manner, which I appreciate. I am so sorry to hear that she is retiring from her practice. She has helped many, many people in her career. Best wishes, Dr. Sarah!

I absolutely love Sarah Roskam. She is smart, thinks outside the box and is determined to help make a diagnosis. She cares personally, is straightforward and no-nonsense. She is respected by others in her field, including surgeons and other specialists. I am glad that I found her as my PCP.

Disrespectful and rude. I had one drop of blood on my cervix when I came in for a papsmear and she said in the middle of the procedure, "oh gross, no, you have to reschedule." She also told me not to have children because I probably wouldn't like them.

Saw Dr Roskam for an urgent care issue. She was extremely disrespectful to me, as well as my toddler daughter whom I had to bring along with me.

Unfortunately, Dr. Roskam has poor bedside manners. I was concerned about skin tags and she retorted that I had old lady skin. She then noticed that I have lower GIs scheduled for every 5 years and without reviewing my file wanted to change it to 10 years. I explained that at my initial procedure they discovered polyps which were removed and that was the reason for an every 5 year procedure. She was abrupt and would not go back to her.

This doctor has poor manners and was rude to me when explaining my symptoms. She said that she treats specific body parts, not general crappiness which wasn't even a word I used to describe the symptoms I was having.
