Worst Dr and staff
The staff is very incompetent along with th Dr insisting on giving me medicine that I'm allergic to. When she gave me a cleanse to do, I ended up in the hospital. I called to tell her and asked for an appointment for upper GI that my primary care physician wanted and would not return my call. This Dr and staff clearly don't care about their patients and do not know what they are doing.

Very smart doctor but you won't see her much.
I needed a new doctor for a procedure I have done every 3 years. I had to wait 4 months just to see the ARNP, but before the procedure I had an appt. with Dr. Manitsas and she spent about 40 minutes with me and explained things well. I saw the ARNP for results. Nobody ever answered the phone and a call back to get results of a special test took several days. The person calling me back was quite nasty and told me I was supposed to get results from the lab myself, but she would get them as a favor to me. I'm not a doctor, so why would they release results to me? They now have a wonderful woman answering the phone, so things seem to be improving.

Doesn’t Care
I wasn’t allowed to meet the doctor until right before my procedure. I was the first procedure of the day, and she was 20 minutes late. When I met her, I felt like she was rushing our conversation because of her lateness. She then said she was going to prescribe me on a certain medicine. When I picked up my medicine from the pharmacy, I realized it was the same stuff I’ve already been taking! This is how much she knew about me. My biopsy results came back 4 days later and I found out from my patient portal. Here we are 3 weeks later, and no one has called me about my results. Thank god my friend told me how to set up an account so I could look. I am suffering every day with pain and losing weight without trying. She doesn’t seem to care. She also wouldn’t do an upper endo at the same time as my colonoscopy. Don’t fall for this scam. It’s all about the money. There is absolutely no reason someone can’t do it at the same time. Oh, did I mention I work in healthcare too?

Only met her prior to procedure
I was not crazy about the doctor's procedures for a colonoscopy. I was a new patient to her. The office schedules you to have the pre-procedure physical appointment with her PA/NP, the office schedules the procedure, the doctor introduces herself right before anesthesia puts you under, the doctor tells you you have a polyp post procedure and instructs you to schedule a follow-up with her PA/NP to explain the findings to you. The NP/PA was not even at the procedure. There basically is no relationship with the doctor. Plus the office was not flexible in allowing you to schedule the procedure at another facility which they advertise they do procedures. I thought the directed Clearwater cCenter was a dump.
