Amazing!
She took time to listen to my concerns and was very patient. She encouraged me to message her via the patient portal anytime. First time in 10 years a Dr actually listened to my concerns and symptoms. I'm finally beginning to feel better!

During tests and exams, Dr. Hossain’s office is pleasant. However, I’ve been battling what I have learned to be a rare gallbladder disorder that she kept writing off, no matter how many times I followed her treatment and insisted it didn’t help, and it was NOT the problem. I’ve been throwing up daily for three years, and put thousands down the drain doing repeat tests only to find out my tests showed the disorder 2 years ago. My PCP ended up referring me to a bariatric general surgeon rather to get my gallbladder removed finally because my PCP saw the issue that her office called “normal”. My appointment had to be scheduled as semi emergent and they’ve been putting me on a cancellation list to get in sooner because of how badly this has all impacted my overall health, the surgeons I have been referred to now are shocked I took so many tests and they didn’t get to see me sooner. If I have to see another GI, I will still come to Cox because I love the staff, but as far as treating I will be requesting NOT Hossain.

I had 3 bleeding ulcers, she was very compassionate, and spent a great deal of time with me to get me back up and moving around again. I was treated by her at Cox South Hospital. Thank you so much Dr. Hossain I look forward to seeing you for my follow up appointment near the end of December. Happy Holidays to you.
