This doctor doesn’t have a clue what’s going on. She shows up to my baby’s room totally unprepared, calls the child by the wrong name, hasn’t read the chart, but yet is quick to give advice. Terrible.

Troubling
I had a very troubling experience with Dr. Cilvik who was assigned to my baby. From the moment we arrived, I felt a lack of empathy and concern for my baby’s well-being. The communication was poor, and I often found myself needing to repeatedly ask questions and clarify the next steps.Cilvik seemed rushed and inattentive, which made me feel like my concerns were dismissed. I understand the NICU can be a fast-paced environment, but when it comes to a newborn’s care, it’s critical to be thorough, patient, and compassionate. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.Additionally, the explanations given about my baby’s condition and treatment were unclear, and I had to rely on other staff members to get the information I needed. It was incredibly frustrating, especially during such a stressful time.
