Excellent
Dr. Chexal is the third ophthalmologist I have been to and I am very happy I finally found someone I am comfortable with. She is professional, friendly, calm and respectful. She has a great bedside manner, a gentle touch, and makes sure all your questions are answered. Her staff are also excellent--courteous, skilled and patient. They make eye-dilation and eye pressure measurement, which can be stressful for some, a breeze.

Dr. is very nice and easy to talk to. However I'm not sure some doctors realized that the office staff is not that helpful. Several times we have asked for a referral, information, or most recently for clarification on a possible error on a diagnosis report, and there is never a follow-up or reply. We always have to call back or remind them. This is very frustrating. Because of this we feel have to look elsewhere.

Simply the best
Doctor Chexal and staff are simply the best, and I am always left with the knowledge that I am being cared for by an exemplary team of individuals who share the common goal of ensuring that my vision health is of paramount importance. Efficient, though never rushed, and all of my concerns are thoroughly addressed. I wouldn't dream of trusting my eyes to anyone else. Many practitioners would love to have a patient say that he/she is treated like family, but in this instance, it is true.

Wet Macular Degeneration
Dr Chexal is very knowledgeable and very competent. On my first visit she explained the condition and the course of treatment. As my condition improved she changed the course of treatment. I would highly recommend her!

Simply the best
The staff at Dr. Chexal's practice has always been amazing - always very kind, professional, personable and just easy to work with. As a Type 1 diabetic dealing with a variety of complications, I see a lot of specialists and, hands-down, my experience with this practice is the best. Dr. Chexal herself is one of the best - she never shames me, treats me with respect, and always answers my questions, but more importantly she has done a fantastic job of preserving my vision. I would not hesitate to send anyone I know with retinal issues to see her. I am so glad my optometrist recommended her.
