Excellent and caring physician
Dr Wheeler has been my physician for 15 years. She has a very calm demeanor and is a skilled physician. I have only had positive experiences over this time. She treated my mother as well and made her feel very comfortable.

Just horrible
Please do not visit her for anything menopause related! Down plays everything, does not even listen to issues; worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced & I’ve been to alot of doctors in my years.

Horrible Experience
I just saw Dr. Wheeler today for an issue I had been having. She did not knock on the door to make sure it was okay to come in, she did not tell me she was going to insert the speculum/fingers before she did so, and was overall very cold and seemed as though she was rushing to get the appointment done. I left the office crying and in more pain than when I came in because no lubrication was used as well. I would highly recommend avoiding this doctor as she completely lacks empathy for younger patients.

Inhumane
Very uncaring, I would describe her past just being “cold” but unable to be compassionate at all. I ended up hospitalized due to her inability to accurately diagnose. Although she will come across as very knowledge and like you should trust her I would absolutely not recommend anyone trust her. Especially if something is not right and you know it, trust your gut and find a doctor who won’t dismiss.

Solid and knowledgeable professional
I've been seeing Dr. Wheeler for over a decade. She delivered one of my children (and another doctor at the practice who has since retired delivered my other two). I'm 100% comfortable with her, and I count on her for my health. She is awesome.

I have been going to Dr. Wheeler for almost two decades. I have had nothing but good experiences with her. She has always been compassionate, understanding, and resourceful. She makes going to the gynecologist office an easy visit. I highly recommend her!

Absolutely horrible experience. Test results came back negative. I asked if they were all received which was confirmed. I had to make another appointment because I was still having symptoms. When I arrived I asked the nurse to double check tests. Before leaving but after exam the nurse returned with positive test results. I tried to explain to over 5 people that I should not be charged for the visit. It was the most frustrating experience I've ever had and got no where. I went in person to the office to try to explain. It was absolutely infuriating. I spoke with Axia as well. This is the 2nd time that this same scenario occurred and I left the practice with no solution. Beware

Dr. Wheeler was forceful in pushing an iud. She only saw her opinion and would not take no or I will research it and think about it as an answer. I left her office in tears feeling vulnerable and uncomfortable. Awful experience.

I love Dr. Wheeler. She is so knowledgeable and answers all questions well. I saw here for many appointments during pregnancy. She is wonderful

I came to her to get birth control and she wouldn't prescribe it because I am too young to be having sex apparently. She put her morals before actually helping me medically. I am disappointed in my experience.
