Doctor Doesn't use computer or laptop
My mother's visits would last 2 hrs due Dr. Turse not using a computer or laptop. She has to go through all the binders and paperwork each visit. My mother also has to bring in all of her medications, this is every visit even though my mother has been seeing her for yrs. Dr. Turse pushes my mother to see specialists but we have to do most of the research for said specialist. What do we know about specialist or who could help my mother the best? My mother is 87 yrs old and English is not her first language. If you happen to call the office always expect to leave a message and you're lucky if you receive a call back in 2 days. Staff is very friendly, but the office set up is not feasible for good care. My mother also received a letter to find another doctor and was only given a month or two to find one! She's on Medicare and only a few new patients with Medicare are accepted at a certain time of year in all family practices. Do not recommend her as a doctor.

Doctor that actually cares about her patients.
I am that patient that tries every precaution to not go to the doctor. Dr. Turse made me feel so comfortable and that she actually cared for me as a person as opposed to another number that I have changed my opinion on my personal healthcare. I have recommended her to several friends.

Great Doctor!
Dr. Turse really cares about her patients. She doesn't rush you out to get to her next patient, but spends time talking with you about any medical issues you have. I have been seeing her for many years and she has always been competent, compassionate and kind. I highly recommend her and her staff!

Dr Turse does a great job at listening to all concerns. She goes into detail about test results and what they mean, and provides needed referrals. She follows up with me to make sure I’m following recommendations. My daughter is a EM doctor and I’m always telling her she should strive to provide the same “ old fashioned” ie caring, considerate and knowledgeable care that Dr Turse does.

This provider was assigned to me by UHC. Before I was able to establish as a new patient I experienced a trauma to my eye. The eye doctor that urgent care referred me to required a referrel from my PCP. Tried calling the office and then finally went there. Explained my situation to the receptionist and was told there was nothing she could do until the end of July. Basically they could help me in 5 weeks. Refused to make any exceptions. I was stunned that a doctors office refused to assist in any way.

Old fashion doctor
Sarah Turse is a great doctor! If you like the way she runs her practice. It doesn’t appear that anything is computerized as far as patient notes therefore she relies on paper results for everything. She wants you to agree on seeing her every 3 months even if you are not sick. However, if you are sick she will send you to a walk in clinic. She is fearful of Covid. She oversees a patient getting to any specialists needed once a year and insists on having the results of any tests they do. Her office staff is not very organized and if you or the pharmacy calls for refills on any meds expect to wait, they are not in a hurry to get meds refilled. Nor are they prompt about referral’s if need per insurance. She is a competent doctor and carry’s herself in a professional manner.

Was my Dr. for about three years,,She was polite and helpful at times,,Went through kidney removal,,(cancer) as my primary care Dr.She was a good coordinator of specialists..Had a bad experience with her seeking her help with my blood pressure medication,,which is very important with one kidney,,Told me it was too much trouble for her with the paper work,,and too costly for her to have her staff assist me..She then dropped me the next week..Wow thought a Dr. became a Dr. to help people..but it's all about the dollar

No experience but I find the staff very unhelpful. I am very sick, in need of a gastroenterologist and I talked to the staff they said they have the referral but have not called with a appointment for me it’s been over a week. Needless to say I made a appointment elsewhere. They took the call and I have appointment for 2 days later. I find dr turse office staff very rude and unprofessional. If dr turse is good she needs to weed out her staff. The worst I have ever dealt with. Prefer no star.

Dr. Sara is the warmest most sincere physician. She spends the time with you that you need, She may run behind on your appointment, but that may be that the person ahead of you needed a little extra time. Just remember that may you at some appointment where YOU are the one in need, She carries herself in a very professional manner and cares about your whole body, I call her my “gate keeper” as she treats me head to toe. I take a lot of medications with varying side-effects. She makes sure to make sure that we keep up on what my body needed are the chemicals deplete them. I will never leave Dr. Sara Turse, I trust her and love how easy she is to speak to even on tough subjects,

Dr. Turse has the rudest & most inept staff. They lie about sending referrals (4 different specialists said they were never called!) They lie about calling in prescriptions & when they do (after multiple reminders) they call in the wrong script (happened to me 3 times.) Also the doctor refuses to use any electronics. She won't use electronic prescriptions. She has no patient portal. She won't even use email. She has no covering drs. for her frequent vacations or off hours.

Yes, you may wait but frankly worth it if you have a doctor who listens, takes time to discuss, review reports, and follow up after tests. A doctor who chooses to refer to specialists if she feels necessary rather than waiting for extended period of time while a condition worsens. This is not a large office filled with staff who don’t remember you from one visit to another. It’s not a “take a number and wait” office. I have been a patient for years & highly recommend-even if I must wait.
