The worst! This was the 1st infectious disease doctor I’ve seen for my illness. I was hoping for lots of knowledge, treatment ideas an tests to rule other things out. She was clueless. She didn’t bat an eye or offer a tissue when I started crying explaining my symptoms. She only ran tests for HIV & sypillis. Her treatment was to put abreva all over my face and up my oral medication I was already taking. This made my symptoms 100% worse. I called to tell her & received no returned phone call.

BEWARE!!! Dr. Sara Scherrer is absolutely one of the most inept medical doctors in the state of Colorado. She claims to be a specialist for "infectious disease", when in fact she has very limited knowledge of lyme disease. After (3) years of numerous tests to rule out other medical conditions, my primary physician had diagnosed me with lyme disease. After initial treatment for such, my primary care doctor referred me to see a specialist to follow up in making sure the lyme disease was gone.
