She's the best
Dr.Mahmood is the best I had an amputation in June 2022 she completely explained all my options and we decided on an amputation she never made me feel like this was my fault every time I saw her she would always say WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS I still see her to this very day she is simply amazing anything I need I simply let her know and she goes above and beyond for me I really recommend her she may be a little non talkative at first but once you get to know her she's an amazing person an amazing doctor I highly highly just recommend her I trust this woman 100% with my life she's done two surgeries on me so far

Knowledgeable, yet could brush up on social skills
I saw Dr. Mahmood for a very minor condition, and though I liked her personality and trusted her knowledge base, I thought she could improve a little on her interpersonal skills: 1) Apologize when you're running late! I understand that doctors are notoriously late (I have yet to have a doctor's visit start on time), but when you're 25 minutes late, I expect an apologize. Please remember, we're paying for your services. 2) When you haven't met the patient before, introduce yourself. Yes, we know your name, but when you first meet someone, it's customary to introduce yourself. 3) Ask a patient for permission to perform a procedure (no matter how minor), on them, especially if it will cause some pain (not just after you've begun, and then apologize saying "Sorry, this might be a little painful).

I have been seeing Dr. Mahmood since 2017. I met her through the wound clinic, with ulcers from peripheral neuropathy and venous insufficiency. I also had a heel that felt like I was being stabbed with an ice pick, with every step. Over the course of two years with injections, the pain stopped. She performed surgery on my heel, I was so nervous, but she was wonderful. I haven't been going to Drs due to Covid but have to return as my issues have returned and the only Podiatrist I want to see, is Dr. Mahmood. She has a calming presence, has a good sense of humor and always explained everything to me.

Awful provider. She gave a diagnosis (a ganglion cyst), told me 3 possible treatments (from doing nothing to surgery) and asked me to choose. I told her I couldn’t (hence why I was seeing HER). She then drained the lumps on my foot (which was painful and there was no warning about how it would impact my driving home). Then said her diagnosis was wrong, but she didn’t know what it was. She then said she’d send the sample to the lab and “if it’s malignant I will call you. If not, you’ll see the results online”. She left the room and left the door wide open while I was on the bed. I left confused, spent 3 days not knowing what she meant as she offered no info. I also didn’t I know how long the results will take. I called her office the next day (twice) and again the following day and asked to be called back. She never did. I reviewed her notes and she said she explained the risks for the procedure, which is not true. She was imprudent, rude, inconsiderate, and showed care for her patient.
