Not nearly as intelligent as she thinks she is. If you have the option, I recommend looking for care elsewhere.

Sara was professional and down to earth. She explained X-rays, exam and medications well. Asked questions and really listened to answers.

Best trait: LISTENED… best effort at understanding what is “ailing me”

She listens to you and your concerns, She actually pays attention to you and not the computer which is nice.

Very satisfied with my visit. Dr. Kane-Smart listens, asks questions, and examined me, taking plenty of time, it was not a rushed visit. She gives good advice, and explanations of her treatment plan. She helped me to help myself get better.

Recently visited Dr. Kane-Smart, she doesn’t care about you at all! My visit with her only lasted less than four minutes. Looks like she is in a rush. There was not even a greeting. And, no good bye when she was leaving. You might end up waiting for a month or even longer for your appointment, but will be done with the appointment within a few minutes and only a couple of questions. Then be sent to another doctor, but filling tons of documents/payments. Don’t waste your time with her.

Both myself and my children have been to Shoreline Orthopaedics several times. They have always been extremely professional. Currently I am working with Dr. Kane-Smart who has given me outstanding care. She is knowledgeable and making suggestions about things I have never even considered. Dr. Kane-Smart is a really excellent doctor. She took a very thorough history, followed by one of the most detailed physical exams I have had. She then did an EMG and was careful to explain each and every step, as well as give a complete explanation of the results. She is extremely personable and friendly. I would recommend her to anyone needing an EMG or physical medicine and rehabilitation services!

I would not recommend this "Doctor" to anyone. I will say one positive thing before I get to the negative. She is very thorough in explaining her treatments. Now the negative: 1. Very Arrogant 2. You, as the patient, are nothing - she is god in her own eyes 3. The first time I visited this person, she insulted me (real caring) 4. The second time i visited this (ahem) doctor, she insulted me again 5. The third time I visited her, she explained very thoroughly what treatment options were available and the chances they had of actually working - which were very low. (Important to remember - She was the one that told me they were low.) When i declined the treatment based on her own words, this quack made a snide comment. If I were to make a suggestion to Dr.Kane Smart, I would suggest she take up a different specialty; perhaps a proctologist because it is more in keeping with her personality and demeanor!

Cared more about herself.....than anything else....came across as very cold....no emotion.......I would never recommend her

She is the best doctor ever! Made sure that I understood everything and made sure I got the best treatment.

I would never recommend Dr. Kane Smart to anyone. I found her bedside manner to be arrogant and appalling. I felt like a piece of meat during my testing. She carries her own self importance as though she were afraid of breaking. She will NEVER let you forget that DHE IS THE DOCTOR! Remember who the patient is Dr. Kane Smart and work on your listening skills.

She and her office suck. Only interested in making money. Give real headaches to schedule an appointment - like they do not want to or care to see patients. All you get is the run a around, even though you have insurance, had your doctor call with a referral, and are willing and ready to pay. Go at your own risk!

I have found Dr Kane Smart to be very thorough and a good listener. I have appreciated her approach with my teenage son. She takes her time and covers all possible bases.
