Dr. Saqib Hasan, MD

Have had years of Chronic Neck Pain and pain management was not working. Dr. Hasan replaced 2 Cervical Disks and now no more pain. Now I want Dr. Hasan to fix my lower back. You need to be patient in the waiting room as he is very popular.

I feel so fortunate that Dr. Hasan was my doctor for my fusion L4-L5 surgery. He and his staff were so caring throughout the whole ordeal. I did have complications due to previous nerve damage which continued after my initial fusion surgery. I required another surgery 3 days later due to the nerve damage. I was seen regularly by Dr. Hasan or Lester, his physician's assistant during that period. I am now a little more than 3 months post surgery and I cannot tell you how wonderful it is! In the past I was unable to stand for very long at all. I have recently been to museums and have stood and walked without any pain whatsoever! I still have some lingering nerve damage in my right leg but it is improving significantly. I am back to my water classes and even hope to be back on the tennis court in the future. I was in bad shape but my surgery has improved the quality of my life significantly! I would definitely recommend Dr. Hasan for anyone with back issues.

Dr. Hasan treated me for a disc bulge (L5-S1) that was pressing against the nerve from my lower back to my foot. It was the most excruciating pain I've ever had. He treated me quickly first with a less invasive approach - an epidural. When that didn't give me relief, we moved to an endoscopic spine surgery. This procedure is changing the treatment of spinal conditions as it's minimally invasive and really should be the new standard for back surgeries. He was very thoughtful, answering all my questions and concerns. The procedure gave me immediate relief. I'm now 6 weeks out and feeling very good. Still having normal pains and taking it slow but I'm so thankful to not be in pain any longer. I'd highly recommend Dr. Hasan as well as his entire team. Great, caring people that take the extra time that's so needed in healthcare today.

If you require back surgery there is no one better than Dr. Hasan and his team of assistants, Leslie and Lester. I herniated my L4 L5 disc resulting in extreme back pain and numbness in my left leg, foot and toes accompanied by 'drop foot' of my left foot. Walking was extremely painful, quite difficult and only with a cane. Due to the drop foot Dr. Hasan altered his schedule to get me in ASAP. He and his staff thoroughly explained the problem, what he would do (laminectomy, facetectomy and discectomy) and how he would do it. The endoscopic surgery, two incisions no more than 1.5 cm in total, went perfectly and I am now walking without pain , limited use of a cane and no drop foot 5 weeks after surgery, all due to Dr. Hasan's expertise and skill. Dr. Hasan, Leslie and Lester are all quite personable and take the time to answer any and all questions associated with your condition and treatment. There is no better!

Dr. Hassan is a life saver, when I went to him I was in the worst pain imaginable. And when I was told I needed surgery I was really scared about what the outcome would be if I chose to have the surgery. Needless to say I went through with it and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Dr Hassan did such an amazing job that the very second I opened my eyes from surgery I said to myself, oh my god the pain is gone. Such an amazing team of doctors. Did such a good job making me feel If I chose comfortable throughout the process. Highly recommend

I recently had a consultation with an orthopedic doctor Dr Hasan through workers' comp, and honestly, I was disappointed with the experience. The entire visit lasted about 10 minutes, which felt extremely rushed. I didn’t feel like I was properly listened to or thoroughly examined. The doctor barely asked questions, gave very little explanation about my condition, and didn’t take the time to address my concerns or offer a clear plan moving forward.It felt like just a quick check-off for paperwork rather than a real medical evaluation. I left the appointment feeling confused and unsure about my next steps. I expected more from a specialist, especially when dealing with a work-related injury. I’m now looking into getting a second opinion because this visit didn’t help me at all.

For decades, I have suffered back pain that was supposedly attributed to arthritis. The pain made it difficult to conduct daily business without the aid of strong anti-inflammatory drugs. I was exhausted from the pain, and decided to address the problem with an orthopedic surgeon.Dr Hasan, was referred to me, and he determined that the issue was misaligned vertebrae, for which Dr. Hasan had a solution. He recommended surgery that, he claimed, would reduce my pain from 65% to 100%. I consented to the surgery, and my life has changed, Although recovery did take time, I am feeling great with NO back pain – pain is 100% gone. Dr. Hasan has further counseled me on how to maintain my spinal health in the future.I am overwhelmed by Dr Hasan’s great surgical skills and warm bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

Review is for September 20, 2024. On August 15, 2024, I left work early and by that night I was in the ER room--pain was excruciating, worse pain I've had in my life. My back never hurt. It was my left leg. I couldn't walk for a week, then after I walked wobbly. I did my own research and found Dr. Hasan. It was worth driving from my home in Los Gatos to Dublin to see Dr. Hasan and his staff! Dr. Hasan immediately diagnosed my MRI and explained the surgery he'd perform. My herniated disc was crushing my nerve and it created pain and numbness on my left foot, big toe, and outside of my calve. Surgery was one hour and you can barely see a scar. My advice: Be patient after surgery. The nerves take time to heal, sometimes a year! I was nervous because I felt the same after surgery. And I also had some pain in my left leg, but that was my nerves healing. Traumatic experience for me, but Dr. Hasan explained everything and he was always right. Lester, his P.A., is awesome. He was a great help!

The result was no pain and full mobility! I am very glad that Dr. Hasan performed this procedure. This was a full disk replacement which is better than a fusion. I am very active and plan to be that way for a while, thanks to Dr. Hasan!

I have been dealing with back pain for years. I was amazed at the results, no more nerve pain. Dr. Hasan was very professional and explained the sugery very well. Best endoscopic spine surgeon out there. Excellent after care and the staff is great also.

Fast forward to surgery day, I smile and laugh when I enter the OR because I see Dr. Hasan the spine surgeon Lester Ma his P.A. ROCKSTARS!!! I wake up with the nerve pain gone like literally gone the same day. I came in at 9am, gone by 4pm, home by 5pm. This surgery was a miracle for me and just another Wednesday for these heroes. Best decision I ever made. I was beyond scared going in and extremely relieved to say the least. I was back to work two weeks later with some stiffness but now it's been 7 weeks post op and just had my physical therapy evaluation and on the road to complete recovery. I told Dr. Hasan thank you and gave that man a hug. I shook his hand told him he changed my life for the better. My goal now is a triathlon. Dr. Hasan and his staff are the kindest and most knowledgeable individuals I have ever met in a medical setting. My endoscopic spine surgery took place in June, 2024, and I am almost pain-free. I would highly recommend!!
