Don't waste your time
Dr Vege wasted a year of my time, made promises he never kept, and then refused any further diagnostics or care. He claims than I was making it up, despite overwhelming evidence pointing to chronic pancreatitis. The next two GI specialists couldn't believe that was his diagnosis, currently receiving treatment elsewhere.

Dr. Vege is amazing. He is very blunt and doesn't sugar coat anything, but that is one reason he is so great. Let's be honest, there are some things that just can't be sugar coated. He was knowledgable on my specific condition and set up the appropriate testing for my case. He also reads about his patients before you come into his room. He is taking the time to know you on a personal level and taking the time to know your condition on a medical level.
