I have three children (19,16,14)and they have went exclusively to Dr. Ram for the past 18 years. Dr. Ram might not be the king of bedside manner and he might be a bit gruff - but he truly cares about his patients and is beyond competent in his practice of medicine. I personally would give him 5 stars, except I wouldn't recommend Sant to all of my friends and family because I think his approach can be off putting to people who are sensitive or feel that they need to be in charge all the time.

Impatient/unfriendly, but stuck with him For time being. Then one had a terrible throat infection. we took him to see Dr Ram who sent us to a lab to get a strep test. He wouldnt prescribe an antibiotic without it. 3DAYS LATER he left message at 4pm while i was working saying it was positive but to not call him back until tomorrow. Didnt even call in a script! I called back so he would call it in (because he's 2 with STREP!) for him to yell at me!! Never again. No RN's/rapid step test, HORRIBLE

Dr. Ram and his staff were our children's medical providers whilst we lived in Erie, PA. Thorough but not alarmist, compassionate and kind. Went above and beyond many times during minor health crises.
