Dr Sharma
So far, Im very happy with Dr. Sharma. My first visit went very well. I like the way he educates you about your kidney. He took time checking my records before my visit and made sure that I understood my medical history. I also appreciate him letting me know what happened to my previous doctor that left so abruptly.

So pleased I was about the medical care provided by the doctor and his PA, when he left my Medicare Advantage Plan’s network, I change plans just to keep him. Coincidently, the same day I selected the new plan provider was his last day being with that plan provider. I understand the coincidence. Willing to pay “out of network” prices, I called his office to see if I could still see him. Following up in a few days, I called again and the office personnel that I spoke with said she’d check with Dr. Sharma. On the third follow up, I was told that I could still see him, and I qualified that it would be “out of network” fees. March 31-the last day to change insurance companies if I were going to-office personnel called again and her exact words were, …”(coverage provider name)…that’s not going to work!”

I think Dr. Sharma is an excellent physician. I am an RN who works night shift. I have had to call him in the we hours of the night. He is always ready to help. This is not true of many of the physicians that I have had to call a 3A.M. That is why I made him my primary care doctor. I have been very happy with his excellent care. His nurse practitioner and other staff have also been excellent.

Last week I had an appointment with Dr Sharma with my daughter who is an RN and he displayed the most disrespectful, inappropriate and unprofessional behavior of any physician we have ever seen. He turned from a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in a matter of seconds. We were floored. He would not even give me my information regarding my file after asking for it. I will never refer him to anyone. This was my second visit as I recently moved to the area.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. SHARMA WAS NOT GOOD. WHEN I WENT IN FOR MY FIRST VISIT HE GOT UPSET WITH ME BECAUSE I DID NOT BRING MY MEDICINE BOTTLES. I TOLD HIM I WAS NOT TOLD TO BRING THEM IN. HE SAID WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT THEM AND I TOLD HIM SINCE I WAS NOT TOLD TO DO SO HE SHOULD TALK TO HIS STAFF. HE DID AND NOT IN A QUITE TONE AND HE REPRIMANDED THEM FOR SQUEEZING ME INTO AN APPOINTMENT. HE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO COME IN THE NEXT DAY AND I TOLD HIM NO. I WOULD FINISH THE APPOINTMEN

I have seen Dr. Sharma for over 15 years. He is very nice and a fine doctor but his staff is not so great. they will not get back with you when you need them to. You will have to call them several times to get anything done. They have lost lab tests of mine before. Requests for return calls at times are ignored.

I have been a patient for approx 20 years. Dr Sharma has accurately diagnosed 3 major medical issues quickly and referred me to excellent specialists that helped me back to health. One occasion was extremely serious and included a 3 day hospital stay, Dr Sharma convinced me to go straight to emergency. I also think his "bed side" manner is superior. He takes time to talk with me about all aspects of my life and really spends time with me every visit! Excellent Dr, great staff and a genuine man!

Calls during peak hours, like A.M. Monday, may take 1-2 tries to get to the staff but they are always responsive. Dr Sharma is thorough and considerate!

Very difficult to get through to office. Phone rings busy or goes to voicemail. Messages are ignored. In person, he seems caring, but requests for medication refills are not acknowledged or answered.
