Very pleased
My husband and I just started seeing Dr Shah. He seems very knowledgeable and empathetic. He listens and answers all my questions without rushing. We will continue with Dr Shah and recommend him as well. The office staff was friendly and helpful.

Dr. Shah provided an in-depth description of my issues and what I needed to do to address them. He’s not a pill pusher, gave me sound advice and following his advice I have dropped from 213 lbs to 171 lbs. He made me feel welcomed and very empathetic towards my needs. He actually took his time and I never felt rushed.

He mis-diagnosed my wife's cancer even after he had all her records from many years and she made three visits regarding the issue. We ended up at Moffitt.

The best primary care doctor you could have
Doctor Shah has always shown empathy to my complaints and he addresses them promptly. I am never just given a rx and sent away. If your looking for a doctor that really cares and loves his profession then please see him, you will be happy you did. I am lucky to have him over seeing my care and it's because of him I can give an honest review. Ralph

Excellent Doctor
I have been a patient of Dr. Sanjay Shah at PMA for over 5 years and have always found him to be highly professional, knowledgeable, thorough and personable, with accurate diagnoses and treatment plans during my visits. He never makes me feel rushed considering the busy pace of his office in The Villages. I feel like I am being well cared for. The staff has been very efficient and friendly as well, from his assistants to front office.

I've been a patience of Dr. Sanjay B. Shah for about 13 years. He has always been very professional and takes his time discussing my health issues with me. My husband and I both go to him. He is not only our doctor but a friend. We have been very happy with the care he has provided to us. I must say that the office staff at Progress Lane is very poor. They do not know how to ask the doctors what meds, etc. the doctor has prescribed.

Sanjay B. (Bhupendra) Shah is an excellent internist. He is knowledgeable, intuitive, observant, proactive, thorough, patient, sensitive, kind, and ethical. He is an outstanding diagnostician: prompt, thorough, perceptive, persistent. He listens, ask questions, encourages and answers questions from patients. He shares information, test and procedural results in a prompt, understandable manner. He offers treatment options that are do-able, affordable, and effective. Sadly, he is leaving practice.
