Dr. Gupta performed a full knee replacement procedure for my right knee on January 17. It was very candid about the recovery process and what it would entail, and I’ve had an overall excellent experience in terms of returning to functionality His PA team has also been very responsive to my request for medication Again, overall, an excellent experience with this group and doctor

The knee is doing well and he explained some additional follow-up in 6 months to check on fluid buildup. Everything is going well a year later.

Dr Gupta is very straightforward in his diagnosis, which I believe was more accurate than what I had gotten from a previous doctor, but I also found him very pleasant to talk to. My knee replacement went according to plan and has been a great success. He told me that I would be at 80% after 6 weeks and 100% after a year. I was not close to 80% at 6 weeks and I think that timeframe should be revised. However, I am now at 10 months and I rarely think about my knee, whether I am out for a 3 mile walk or going up the stairs 2 at a time. What a difference from where I was at before the surgery.

Dr Gupta is a NO nonsense Doctor. Dr Gupta and staff made it super easy to make the decision to get my Full Left Hip replacement. They also made it very easy to book and prepare for the surgery. From all of the pre-registration, all doctor and hospital appointments and having me do physical therapy prior to surgery, which made the recovery that much easier. I have been seen by Dr. Gupta over the years to monitor the progress of my osteoarthritis. This time, I decided to go for surgery, and I could not have chosen a better surgeon. Dr. Gupta is very professional, to the point, and articulate in explaining all aspects associated with the surgery, how to best prepare for it, and how to best recover from it. One month later, full mobility was back; two months later, I could cycle again, and three months later, I didn't even think about the surgery anymore... The Lighthouse Center where the surgery was performed was outstanding, and the staff was courteous and helpful.Highly recommended!

Dr. Gupta replaced my knee in March 2024 and my hip in Jan 2018. He came highly recommended and I am pleased to highly recommend him to others. Both procedures were fully explained as was the recovery process. Everyone at Brookfield Orthopedics is wonderful: professional, courteous and friendly. Word to the wise: following doctor's orders pre and post surgery is essential - you have to do the physical therapy exercises at home everyday!
