This practitioner of medicine is dismissive and belittling. I don't recommend him if you are female. He is one of those kinds of doctors who treat women as if they are hysterical. The decision I made to not seek treatment from him any longer ultimately saved my life. I hear that he is moving on from Butler Health System, Congratulations to them, their better than him.

Excellent practice
I love this practice. Dr. Dixit is always compassionate, informative and very positive. I always feel good when I leave his office. He is very encouraging of the "small wins" in managing my conditions. The staff is always very pleasant, I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen.

I was misdiagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in late my 20's by another endocrinologist. He took the time to retest and discover that I actually was a late onset Type 1 diabetic. That was 5 years ago. I would never go anywhere else. He has been an absolute pleasure to work with and I look forward to my visits with him. He always asks about my well being and what can he do for me. We discuss my blood tests, meds, what is working and what doesn't seem to be working. I recommend him to everyone!

Caring Specialist
The staff was warm and friendly and I didn't have to wait long to see the doctor. Dr. Dixit was professional, yet compassionate. He sat and talked with me, reviewed my blood tests and asked me if I had any questions. His encouragement was much appreciated. He also helped me manage my medications for best results and for my financial situation. I have recommended this office and Dr. Dixit already to several people and I will continue to recommend him. Great visit.

Didn't perform necessary companion diagnostics that are routine for the medication he prescribed. He treated me not as a patient but as a statistic; actually like a liability. Will no longer use this poor physician!

Came in due to fatigue. Gave blood draw to test thyroid. Learned about the endocrine system for next visit and asked to take a few blood tests like Testosterone. Denied them without any discernable reason which doesn't even make any business sense. Sure enough, I went to another endocrinologist and my fatigue was due to....Testosterone and a few other endocrine issues. Thanks for nothing. Go elsewhere.

It was very pleasurable experience to come to the office. From the time you arrive, the staff treat you so kindly and efficiently. After seeing three other endocrinologists, it was great that Dr. Dixit was the next person to care for my diabetes. He is spot on and works with you to have the best outcome possible in the control and treatment of your diabetes. I HIGHLY recommend him.

I first met Dr. Dixit at UPMC in Pittsburgh when my thyroid went crazy in 2015. He treated me with dignity and compassion. He moved to the Butler Health Systems 2016. I decided to follow him. I live in Champion PA and travel 78 miles one way from my home because he so great. I will not find another Endocrinologist like him. I will continue to see him as my Endocrinologist as long as I can. More doctors need to have his characteristics. He is one of a kind!

Very arrogant and childish doctor. Refused to listen to me, refused to look at blood work that was done by another doctor. I should have listened to others when they said Endocrinologist, only know that was taught from the 70's. I knew more than this joker of a doctor. Sad he wanted his money going to school. I didn't waste the money on a medical career. This guy obviously doesn't keep up on medical journals. Very sad what Western medicine has become.

I saw Dr. Dixit for two appointments about 6 months apart. I had a history of hard to treat hypothyroidism and explained that in our first appointment. Dr. Dixit was open to answering questions, but only to a point. I wanted to be an active party in my treatment, but that was only accepted for a certain time and then I was told, rather impatiently, not to question him anymore.
