Dr. Sandy Witzling, MD

Dr. Witzling is an extraordinary surgeon who combines exceptional skill with genuine compassion. Throughout my life, Dr. Witzling has been a constant source of support, taking on complex surgeries that others deemed too challenging. His dedication to patient care is unparalleled; he always took the time to thoroughly explain procedures and address any concerns, making sure I felt comfortable and informed at every step. His willingness to tackle difficult cases is why I am here today. I am immensely grateful for his expertise, kindness, and unwavering commitment to my well-being. Dr. Witzling is not just a great surgeon; he is a true lifesaver and a remarkable human being.

If I could give a negative rating I would. This Dr. should lose his license completely. He killed my best friend’s sister. She had a routine gallbladder removal and he lacerated her liver and she bled to death internally. From my understanding he did this to a couple of other patients prior to her as well. This dr should not be allowed to practice. License suspended for 10 years. Just got re-instated last year.

Worst Dr. ever. He killed my sister during gallbladder surgery in 2006. The coroner told us the cause of death was a laceration to the liver, although he will say it was my sisters fault. He was found to been gross negligent in her case. He prays on low income individuals that he thinks will not fight back when he does something wrong to them. My sister was a medi-cal patient; he never expected my parents to sue him. Fox News did a story on what a horrible Doctor he is in 2009. He admitted to Fox New off camera that my sister was the only one he made a mistake on. He left my niece with no mother and my parents had to bury their second child. He just got his license back after a ten year suspension. He should have never gotten it back, ever. Save yourself, family and friends from this horrible man. I hope no one's family ever has to go through what we have. It was supposed to be a routine surgery on a 33 year old that ended tragedy.
