Dr. Sandra Lerner, DO

Dr. Lerner LISTENS, really LISTENS! I always feel like she has time for me, that she cares about my health and well being. She makes helpful suggestions. She follows up. She carefully watches my blood test results. She has a very nice sense of humor. I was her patient for 6 years before she joined MDVIP. The price for MDVIP is steep for me, but she was so good that I knew it would be better for my health if I stayed with her. And I'm SO glad that I did.

Dr. Lerner makes you feel like you are her only patient. She truly is one the best!

Dr. Lerner takes the time to really listen to you, looking directly at you (rather than simply typing into a computer). She genuinely wants to understand your background and concerns and comes up with various options for you to employ to stay healthy. She is also exceptionally responsive to phone calls, even outside of regular business hours, when needed. I highly recommend Dr. Lerner. She is one of the best doctors I've ever had over the years.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Lerner’s for a few years. She’s super easy to talk to (even about the embarrassing things), and she’s vested in the health of her clients. She’s genuinely interested in how I am doing, and she’s very encouraging. Additionally, I’ve had to contact her a few times for emergent situations and she’s always responsive and helpful.

Dr. Lerner recommended a Neurologist for me. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Her recommendation was perfect. Dr. Lerner keeps track of my situation. Contacting Dr. Lerner is never a problem.

Dr. Lerner takes the time to listen to you, and give you tips and information on your conditions. She really seams to care about how your doing and what your concerns are. The only negative thing I would have is she could do better at explaining why she wants certain tests done.

I am new to Dr. Lerner's practice. On the first appt she was a great listener, answered my questions and addressed my concerns. I struggle with my weight and have tried many programs in the past. What I liked best, is that she was honest with me about it and gave me ideas, suggestions, and ways to help myself. She even noticed something I had on my leg for years which I thought was a scar. She wanted to have it tested just in case; my past Dr. didn't even notice it. Thank you Dr. Lerner!

My first time at the office was fairly positive but as time goes on and I have been there over the past 3 years and my opinion has definitely changed. The office staff is not always pleasant and at times you feel as though you are bothering them, I have asked for a refill almost a week ago and still haven't heard anything. Dr. never calls with lab results. It's a good thing I was a CMA and know about labs or I probably would never hear. Researching a new doctor and office.

she's nice in person but seems like she's rarely in the office. I have a tough time getting appointments. For that reason I am finding a new doctor

She is kind and listens to everything before determining what the issue is. She actually cares about her patients and I can honestly say she is one of the best doctors I have yet had. She even helps me keep my 4 year old preoccupied during my visit.

Dr. Lerner is a very knowledgeable and a very compassionate physician. She is very thorough and led me to tests that saved my life. She is easy to talk to and she really listens! I am so very glad to be her patient. It is wonderful have such an excellent clinician in my area.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Learner after my PCP left her practice. In able to locate where she moved on to, I choose to try Dr. Learner based on online reviews. I waited 1 hr. And 15 minutes to be called into the back. The medical assistant who took my vitals barely spoke 2 words to me. When I saw Dr. Learner she was suggesting that I come back without my kids ( ages 3 and 1 and very well behaved) my exam was about 5 minutes.

From the first time I met her 5 years ago, she has become the best Doctor I have ever had. She is caring , down to earth, explains everything in normal words.
