Dr. Sandra Gawchik, DO

Dr. Gawchick saved my life. She listened to me and did not try to make me feel like I was crazy, she is an amazing diagnostician. No other immunologist was willing to do this for me. It has been 6 years since I started seeing her & I finally have a quality of life again. I would highly recommend

Dr Gawchik is definitely the most thorough, attentive doctor that I’ve had in my entire life. I came in with an issue with my lip. She closely examined it and answered all my questions. She took her time to answer them. Because she takes time with her patients, the waiting time is quite long, but it is certainly worth it. If you have an allergy issue, Dr Gawchik is an excellent choice.

Dr. Gawchik is incredible! She is the most intelligent woman I have encountered. I have been seeing her for over fifteen years and she has given me the best care possible. I have severe asthma and ended up in the hospital. My asthma is now better than it has ever been thanks to her! Recently, my insurance wanted to deny me medication. Dr. Gawchik and her team would not stop until the drug was approved and mailed to my home. I am truly a miracle patient thanks to her. I highly recommend.

Doctor Gawchik is an attentive doctor who listens to your concerns and also answers questions. I’m really impressed with her ability to recall things I’ve subtly mentioned, which is good. She takes notes when she talks with patients. However, wait times for her are long, so bring a fully charged phone to keep yourself occupied.

Dr. Gawchik has served our entire family of 1 adult and 3 children over 40 years. She is spot on in diagnostics concerning asthma, allergy an immunology. She is caring, knowledgeable, professional, and has kept our family from ever having severe issues with all our maladies. I would recommend her and her staff and associates for any one with health needs in pediatric asthma, allergy, and immunology. She is excellent with children and takes time to explain their health issues so they understand. This is true for the parents and adult patients.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Gawchik. I have been dealing with issues for about 3 years. After 2 dermatologists and 1 allergist, I finally found the answers that I was looking for. Dr. Gawchik is kind, caring and very personable. She truly cares about her patients and has helped me tremendously on my very 1st visit.

Hands down the best doctor I have ever seen in my entire life! I agree with the long wait times but there is a reason why you are waiting so long to see her. Dr. Gawchik takes the time to listen to her patients. She never makes me feel rushed when I go to see her. She wanted to get to the bottom of what I came in to see her about. She did without a doubt solve an issue I had for 3 years and 6 doctors told me I was completely "normal" after a multitude of tests. She even called me at home to help me through one of my first asthma attacks I had since childhood. Also, with new prescriptions she tries to get me free samples if they have any! There is not enough good things I can say about her, she is by far the best doctor and person I have ever met!

It was my first visit with Dr. Gawchik I showed up 45 min early I had to be at work 4 hrs later thats why I scheduled it so early. I waited 1 1/2 for her when she finally came into the office she seemed rushed barely introduced herself & never apologized for the wait. I waited over an hr my time is just as precious as hers. Anyway.. she was very argumentative during my orientation. She was incredibly arrogant & unprofessional. I did the lab work she requested but I’m taking to another Allergist

Dr. Gawchik does a great job, but I've almost always waited an hour or more for appointments.
